Question about Husqvarna Riding Lawn Mower 46 Cut Kohler Yth21k46

Open Question

I Have a new 2013 Husqvarna v46 mower, I need to remove the lower dash panel to get to the oil change plug. The plastic screw(?) that holds the panel in places only rotates but will not come out, so I cannot get the panel off. Should I just remove this screw and put something it its place, and if so what would I use so that I don't have the same problem later.....

SOURCE: what kind of oil for a husqvarna riding mower?

Yes Briggs and Stratton recommends sae 30 in most all their engines even overhead valve (OHV)
Kohler uses 10w-30 in most of their overhead valve engines

Briggs has their own bottled oil with their label and additives and can find at lowes
Kohler the same

Buy some starting fluid and spray some in the carb or air cleaner intake port, if the machine is flooding do not choke while using the starting fluid, make sure you do not have too much oil in the mowwer.

SOURCE: I have a husqvarna 55. I put in a new carb, coil,

If you are still having problems I would check or replace white grommet inserted into cylinder and connected to manifold, they have issues with breaking or blowing out. This model also has problems with the black intake boot not sealing around cylinder and manifold,an easy check by spraying a LITTLE carb cleaner around problem area.

SOURCE: Husqvarna riding mower w/20 hp

Hi.

There is gas smell in the carburetor because the engine is not starting and carburetor is flooding.

As first thing ensure that there is spark, pull the spark plug wire and put the end near to engine block while cranking. You will see the spark. If there is no spark, check distribution coil and wires.

If there is spark, check if there is fuel pressure, if there is smell from carb, then the fuel pressure should be Ok.
Once you are sure that the pump is doing its job, and that there is pressure, check the carburetor settings. The mixture is probably too rich or too lean, and for that reason it is not igniting.
If it is not a matter of carburetor settings, then the carb must be taken apart to check carburetor filter.

How to change the crank case gasket briggs 23hp

Yes you need to drain the oil, turn the engine onto its flywheel, remove all the crankcase screws, clean the exposed crank to remove any rust or dirt, now gentlty ease the base off, it should come away with the oil pump gear.

Four way flashers and signal lights are not working on 1998 for taurus have changed the delay relay switch

Replace the flasher unit. The flasher/turn signal is screwed into the metal support above the fuse panel, you must take the bottom of the dash off and remove the plastic cover. this is for a sable that has light out detection.
Look under your dash for a blue box screwed into the right side of the dash panel. This of course is done, with you laying on your back, and your feet in the back seat.

It's a blue box, about the size of half a twinkie (cream filled, golden sponge cake).

Remove the plug that holds it in, unscrew the screw that holds it to the frame, and go to Autozone or other parts store, to get a new relay.

You will have to reuse the metal piece that holds the relay to the dash panel, so be sure and save that before you throw the old part away.

Installation is the reverse.

How do you remove the radio on a 2004 Monte Carlo SS

Begin sitting in the front passenger seat. Open the glove box. Find the screw attached to the dash board (on the left). Remove that screw. Move to the drivers seat. Remove the narrow panel that holds the light bulb below the steering wheel. There are two plastic clips that hold that piece on the car. Removing that panel reveals a few Phillips head screws. Remove those screws. With the drivers door open, locate the fuse panel. Remove that panel. You will see a few screws there, remove the lower one (or two, I can't remember for sure). Next, tilt the steering wheel as low as you can get it. Slowly (using your hands only) pry the panel just above the steering wheel outward toward yourself. Slowly move toward the radio pulling the panel toward yourself. Once you have freed the large panel, fish your hand in behind it to disconnect the hazard button (This is a must!!!). Once that has been disconnected, pull up on the panel to move it past the steering wheel (it is a tight fit). Once that it done, there are two screws holding the radio in the dash. Remove those screws as well as the radio antennae plug and the two wiring clips in the rear of the radio.

Changing out the radio on 1996 buck century

Remove the hex screws from the lower section of the dash, under the steering column. This will reveal more screws that hold the wood tone panel down. There are more screws visible just under the top of the dash, look carefully as the upper screws, so you do not remove more than you need. Carefully, twist the woodtone panel around the steering column and remove. You will see 2 more hex screws to the right of the radio that hold the black plastic cover just to right of the radio. Carefully pop that cover off to reveal 2 more screws that hold the radio in place. Remove those 2 and the 2 on the left and you can pull the radio forward to unhook the harness and antenna wires.

There is a screw on the side of the lower unit, you remove this screw, fill with proper lubricant and then hold the bike upright, it will then overflow to the proper level.
