My windows will not accept my device. What driver do I need? Neptune Finis

Windows does not require a driver to use this device. If connected via a USB port, it should be recognized by Windows as a removable disc drive and will show up under the "My Computer" menu, or "This PC" menu, depending upon Windows version. There is no other GUI or assistant type software utilized.

IMac does not recognize it

First connect one of wires/connector(the thing that is use to connect it to the computer) to the computer and the other end to the mp3,(also check to see if there is any bumps, loose wires, or broken parts of the connector. If it is damage it won't do any) If it's not damage, I think you go to file explorer then to my computer/my pc there should be an area where it shows all devices. It should be there. If not try going to control panel then to hardware and sounds. Look at the autoplay then click on the link for changing the settings for media and devices. If that doesn't work go back to control panel and go to devices and printers then click on add device. It should be able to recognize it.

Why won't it recharge?

The charger or the wire that connect to the power source could be damaged, or the error can sometimes be resolved by the reset button.

How do you fix a Finis swimp3 1 gb not recognized by the computer

There are a couple reason why a SwiMp3 1g will stop recognizing on your computer. Below are some things to look for and tips to try to get your unit working correctly again.
First, pull the cap of the USB and check if there are any signs of corrosion occurring on connection. If so, it is easily removed and prevented from happening again. Once the corrosion is safely removed off the USB your unit will recognize in your computer and charge correctly again. To remove corrosion try running HOT water over the USB. Scrub with a toothbrush, pick with your nail or a butter knife ect. Also, if the hot water does not work you can also try rubbing alcohol. Once most of the corrosion is off, the unit should charge and connect properly.Corrosion is actually caused from moisture and chlorine not the actual water so a way to prevent corrosion from happening again is to run fresh water over the USB and pat dry after each swim.
If the SwiMp3 is a 2g (yellow and black) contact Finis technical support for the firmware links and instructions to fix this issue. Also, you can visit and create a support ticket regards to your product or review walk-through tips on the product. Thank you,

Finis SwimP3 charging but not listed on removable disk drive.

Generally the computer should recognize the Swimp3 Player just like it would a flash drive or thumb drive. Remove the drive from your USB Port, press and hold the RESET button for 4 seconds and then try again.

That will usually clear up any hiccups you're having with the swimp3 player.

Plug it back in and look in My Computer again. On my Windows PC with XP it pops up and asks what I want to do with the drive.

After Resetting, you may also want to try it on a second computer to see if it is recognized. If it isn't working then, it could be the electronics, and your gift giver can check with the place where it was purchased.

I hope this helps.
