Question about Dell F3534 Touchpad

1 Answer

Scroll not working.

It doesn't seem to register. Normally there'd be a green dot when my fingers are on the pad, but it doesn't seem to have it. The scroll isn't working with it, but it still registers when I move or tap.

How to perform scroll function in laptop without mouse in Dell vostro

Your touch pad should do the trick.
They are called "Gestures". They are set to active by default. If it's not. Go to "Control panel > click "mouse" and find "touch pad". There you will find "Gestures". Activate it.
1. Put two fingers on the touch pad and try to move both fingers up or down. Learn how to scroll up and down.
2. Move those fingers side ways. This should do the "Horizontal" scroll.
There are others, like:
Put one finger stationary and rotate the other. This rotates the orientation of the object.
Try it and good luck.

Touch pad scrolling not working

Connect an external mouse and see if there is any issue . If so the pad can be faulty on the PC. Please restore the PC and reinstall the drivers. If not you will need to check the touch pad circuit and clean the scroll button contacts.

I bought a psyclone essentials Wii charge station with 2 batteries PX6522. However, when I lay the batteries down on the inductive charging pad, nothing lights up (not the red for charging or green for...

I know this is an old post, and you likely don't need the answer anymore, but It appears that the programming in the induction pad can get screwed up and it won't actually detect that the batteries are there. By unplugging the station and leaving it unplugged for a bit, then plugging it back in you can normally reset the pad and get it to detect (and charge) the batteries again.

My touchpad dot work if I want to scroll down by scraching finger as it was before I reinstalled window

Think you just need the proper driver for your pad so all the functions of it work properly.
http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&ServiceTag=&SystemID=VOS_N_1510&os=WLH&osl=en&catid=&impid= that is the official dell driver page for your laptop.
Select your windows (or closet they have to it) then expand the menu to the type of drive you need (input devices) Alps Touch Pad

I have just installed my windows 7 home premium upgrade to replace vista home premium that my acer aspire 5738z notebook came with, everything seems to be ok apart from my mouse pad isnt functioning...

this means ur scroll pad isnt properly configured. i have a general idea of this problem. first try restarting ur computer. if it doesnt work go to control panel and check that ur mousepad is properly configured. i had this problem once and it turned out i just had some dust or something on my pad. just wipe it with a cloth. Hope this helps!

Touch pad

If you have the drivers for the touchpad installed then you should be able to run your finger up or down the right hand side of the touch pad and have it scroll the page you are one.

If it doesn't work then you may need to either reinstall the drivers or find the program that handles the touch pad settings (usually found in program files) and turn the scrolling feature back on.

Hope that helps :)

Touch pad issues

Next time you try scrolling on the touch pad, also push down (really) hard on the touch pad(kind of like you're squeezing the player). Keep doing this, and you may get it working. I've dropped mine a few times, and this push/squeeze/scroll seemed to work.
