SOURCE: printing blank pages after installing

Remove the entire cartridge, clear any paper or debris inside the printer, then re-insert cartridge. Cartridge needs to be fully seated in printer.

If problem persists, remove the cartridge and check metal tab on right side of cartridge for damage. If damaged or missing, replace PC Kit. Check metal tabs on bottom of Cartridge. If missing or damaged, replace Developer Unit.

If problem still not corrected, contact Lexmark Technical Support for further assistance.

Please try to print the menu settings page, if you see the streaks on the page then this may be a PC Kit issue, needs to be replaced.
If the streaks appear using the ADF, please click on the link provided below for a more detailed instruction on how to correct the problem.

Mine is a Lexmark x 264dn


Did you replace with an actual Lexmark unit or remanufactured or 3rd party unit? Depending on the version of firmware that is installed, some remanufactured units will be recognized as defective. If it was new OEM Lexmark and you had this issue with the old and the new then there is likely a problem with the printer such as the chip reader. Also check the cavity where the drum unit inserts. On the right hand side there are a series of silver wires that are contacts. If any appeared to be much lower than the others wiggle them softly to see if the pop up. If they are not making contact you can get this error.

How do I replace pc kit on Lexmark X 264dn


The PC kit is removed by grapping the handle on the toner cartridge and pulling up and out. Then press the grey button under the toner handle to remove the toner cartridge from the PC (photo conductor) unit. Install new PC unit in printer and install the toner into the PC unit. Check instructions with PC unit for reset instructions for the page counter.

Black lines on side of page lexmark c534


Please try to print the menu settings page, if you're getting the black lines, replace the photoconductor for the black toner.

Lexmark x264dn windows 7 64bit. Will not scan but prints just fine


Please download and install the scan driver from support.lexmark.com. After installing the scan driver, please check the scanner under Imaging Device from device manager. If scanner shows under imaging devices, open the scanning program and scan a document.

Printing blank pages after installing a new toner in lexmark 264dn
