My rockford fosgate T1 amp blew a fuse and now protection is on

Chances are that more than a fuse went. I would follow (internally) the path of the wires from the speaker you mentioned - inside the amp. This should bring you out to the main amp. I think you will find that whatever powers that channel is faulty.

I have a volfenhag zx7170 and i had the amplifier hooked up to my truck but when i switched it out to my car (which i did all the wiring right in) it went into protection mode and wont come out of it is...

Hello
Disconnect all the output wirings. Just supply the amp itself, and switch it ON. If it doesn't show any protection, make sure that the wiring to speakers have some short in between car chasis. check them, by connecting one by one, and find out which one makes the trouble. Cehck it well. If the amp does show protection even after disconnecting all the outputs, make sure that the internal circuit of the amp has some trouble, and the set needs service. OK

My amplifier turned off while playing and wont turn on at all now

Hello, it sounds like you shorted the outputs of your amp or the power supply mosfets shorted. Very common when people have the music at a loud volume. Does the protect light come on? If not then the power supply is probably shorted not letting the protect circuit get any voltage. Some amps do this and other amps if the power supply shorts have the protect cicuit built in such a way that if the power supply shorts out the protect circuit still works. Cause you checked all wiring and redid it and no fuses blew then this is your problem. I repair amps everyday for a living. ?Most of my out of state customers are from fixya.com. I'm the cheapest amp repair business you'll find. If interested send me a private message letting me know what kind of amp it is, name and model number, and i'll get you back up and running with warranty.

2000 watt american legacy amp protection ligh wont go off

Same thing happened to me so I returned it for repair turns out it was an internal 25amp fuse on the output. Got it back an it sounded very weak now it does not play at all. Nothing wrong with my setup as I have now got an 800watt amp that is running great.

Memphis PR300.2 Amp protect light on

If it is not turning on your problem is it is not getting power. Check your fuses. The reason an amp goes into protect mode is usually because the subs are not wired up right. Make sure your fuses are good, you have a good ground, and make sure your amp turn on wire didn't come loose when you were putting the deck back in. As for the amp going into protect you probably wired the subs down to too few ohms and the amp you have can't handle it. Try hooking the subs up straight w/o bridgeing them and turn it up to see if it works. If you don't have problems with it then you wired your subs wrong.
