Door looked flashing - Maytag MHWC7500YW

look at the place where the lock locked in the door the metal pinns could be broken or covered with erosion or something. De door lock makes no contact with the receptor.

Ihave a Hoover Vision HD washing machine and the "Door Security" light keeps flashing. I have looked in the manual and it says the door is not properly shut. However the door is correctly shut and as a result the machine will not operate . The door will open or close but will not start a cycle to wash. Any suggestions please????

If you look in the little round window on the blower door you should be able to count the flash code from there. If your model does not have the codes listed on the outside of the blower door, then remove the blower door and check on the inside of door. Hope this helps

Check the flash codes in the bottom of the furnace on the circuit board there is a led light that will flash a code like (3 or 4 flashes) Look in the sight hole of the blower door and record the flashes. Then remove the blower door and look on the back of the blower cover door and see what the code represents.

2009 right. This needs to go back to the dealer. Everything is computer related. Only a qualified volve tech should look at this. Everything is still covered under warrenty

The code for the LED flashing 5 times is " Motor overheated or possible RPM sensor failure. Unplug to reset".
The RPM sensor is a small printed circuit just in front of the motor.

If the flashing is the main light and it is flashing 10 times then it is a door sensor problem. Make sure the are pointed at one another.

hi, my mom has a 2004 sorento, and she had this problem.
we found that when you UNLOCK it, the lights flash 2 times quickly. and when you LOCK it, they flash 1 time, but it is a longer flash,
if they do not flash when you lock it, it means a door is closed, now if you are 100% sure the doors are all closed, then you problem is in the switches on the door.
if you open the drivers door, and look along the seem of the car it's self, not along the door,, you should see the little black button, which is covered in a black rubber.
Try holding this down with your finger and locking the car with your remote. is the lights flash like they should, then ......
you need to find the "bumper" that is on the door, it is a small felt circle. you most likely have to move it around so that it "re-alines" wit the rubber button. then it should solve your problem,
this fix shouldn't cost you anything.

The code it is sending by flashing 5 times is 'RPM sensor or motor overload'. Is the door stuck in the open position?

look in your book it will tell you the problem count the numer of blinks

Look for a microswitch connected to the lock mechanism at the back of the stove. The switch is probably broken.
