Washing machine Hi My washing mashine programme seems to be stuck on test programme i cant get it off it i have looked at the manual and changed fuses etc have you any suggestions

seems as if the washer is in child lock mode pressing and holding a key related to the child lock for four seconds will unlock the washer and allow you to use the washer again

Could need resetting , try turning it on and off at the wall ?

I don't know what kind of washer you have. It sounds like a plugged drain pump/trap.

pump blocked - clean out pump/filter/oultet hose. power off

This is more a workaround than a solution. When you choose the washing programme (say "D") and push the on/off button, two lights will flash, the "door locked" and the "drying" one. Now turn the "drying programme" button until the "drying" light stops flashing (in my case, this is true when I set the drying programme to 40°C). Then start the washing mashine.

Seems like the function of the drying programme button has shifted against the settings written on the button...don't ask me why! Of course, no guarantee but works for me. Please let me know if it does for you.

You need to hold the start button infor at least 3 seconds, then change programme to pump out. once that programme has finished change the programme to what you want.

Plug off the wall. Open up behind, you will find a thin tube, maybe tranparent or black coming down from the control panel to the exit area (pump area) of your machine. Carefully disconnet this from above and blow into it, it should be free, if not clear it, if kinked or broken replace.

If this does not work, its your solenoid valve at the entrance point of your machine, top right, where the water is received. Just change this. If all works fine rate me please.
