Hmm, that's interesting. When you use your remote control to select a different input source, can you see the different source codes showing up on your screen (like TV, Input 2, Input 3, etc.)?
If you can see that, it means that something is being transmitted to the screen (that's a good thing). If not, it probably means you'll need to call for service.

White spots on screen i have changed the lamp

It's probably you have a busted DMD chip, have your technician replace that, better yet buy a new projector because replacing that chip costs almost a brand new unit.

Turn the brightness up slightly and turn the contrast on the highest setting. There may also be settings to control wether your projectin on a wall or on a screen. Make sure these settings are correct to your setup.

Canon XEED SX50 Multimedia Projector - Poor light on screen

the canon xeed sx-50 should beside its noisyness give a brilliant bright picture. if not check if there ist something wrong with the lamp? is it aged? did you buy it used? the lamp counter can be easily reset... the only reason for a faint picture could be the lamp's age or tons of dust inside the matrix :)

Optoma EP732H Projector - Image is Whitewashed

Hi tourblack

I wouldn't think that this is a lamp issue , as the lamp will make the picture fade away in brightness and wouldn't look white washed.

Check if the brightness is set to 50% and the contrast on 50% as well.

This could be a colourwheel that is in need of replacement.

Why is my projection dark and muddy compared to the brightness on my computer screen?

John here, customer advocate at Dell headquarters. If you can nvigate to the On Screen Display Menu, you should see an "all images" section on the main menu. There you will find brightness, contrast, color temp, white intensity, and gamma controls. You should be able to make adjustments from that menu to sharpen and brighten the image.
