SOURCE: Not draining the tub

Try to perform the following test as describe on this link. If the machine works, you might have a defective lid switch.
Check here for more info on the lid switch and other possible failures.

SOURCE: the tub will not spin in the rinse cycle

This sounds like a timer problem if it will spin in other cycles. If you hear a motor running but no spin it is the motor couple.

SOURCE: Whirlpool LSN1000KTO Quiet Wash II (Agitate but nothing else.)

you have a faulty lid switch you will need to remove the cabnet and replace. To open you will need to remove the star screws off the rear consel corners and pull control panel up and over.If there is no screws you will need to use a puddy knife and push the front corners between the top and consel there are 2 clips ther as you push the knife lift at the same time on the consel. Then there are 2 brass clips stick a flat screw driver in and pry up they should pop off..Then remove the wire harness from lid switch. The lid switch will be under the cabnet or on the toprear left corner.to take the top lide switch remove the 5/16 screw and lift the lid then switch will come off.install new on if older the switch hase 2 srews around the inside lid area where the stricker pushes down then remove screw under the cabnet as well.hope i helpes is give me a fixya thank you so much :)

SOURCE: Won't Rinse

Had this same problem with my GE WBVH6240 Front Load Washer which we have had for about 5 years. After performing surgery on it; cleaning out the drain hoses, cleaning out the filter several times, checking the operation of the pump, checking the water pressure coming in to the washer, finally narrowed it down to the water valve. Ordered a new valve through Appliance Parts Pros. Got it in 2 days through regular shipping, installed it in less than 10 min, ran it through a quick wash cycle and everything works 4.0. Don't know which parts you replaced but this fix which I eventually got to only cost $50. Saved me hundreds and/or the possibility of buying a brand new washer. Hope this helps.

My roper washing machine modelRA845KJQ have a fuse in it? I just stopped wrking mid wash..its full of water and will not work andwe repaced the motorand he coupling in it ndstill nohin and was wondering...

If its sitting dead... and you have no wash/fill/or spin.. I would tend to think timer. If the tub I full of water, reset the timer to wash... if it washes and then die's at the rinse... look at the lid switch.

Stops before rinse cycle... won't drain or spin.

The REGULAR CYCLE button turns the drain pump on or off. The REGULAR LED will turn
on when the pump is on. This feature can be used to drain the tub. You could get a bucket and lay the hose on the fllor. Gravity will drain it down.

Keeps on rinsing and spinning over and over again

Aha! Mine was doing the same thing and I also noticed that there was some excess water in bottom of the tub - not the tub that the clothes go in but the one that that tub is sitting in. Does that make sense? Anyway, I cut the zip tie that holds the drainage hose, brought the hose as close to the house as possible and siphoned the excess water out of the tub. After this I tried a small test load and it worked no problem. I think the fact that there was this excess water left in the machine made the load too heavy to start the spin cycle.

Hope this helps.

Rinse Cycle

Is this a fairly new Energy star machine? If it is the rinse cycle is a spin only cycle with several spray rinses.

You may have an option switch that gives you a Fabric softener option, use this option and you will have a deep tub cold water rinse.

Make sure you are using He detergent.

If you have soft water use less detergent

Let me know if you have further questions.

Your sales rep should have told you this!
