blower relay is clicking on. check the voltage getting to the blower. if the blower is getting proper voltage then you mayhave issue with the blower. If theres no pwer to blower, issue could be with the board

SOURCE: I have a Jandy Laars LX Pool-Spa Heater

You have a serious issue call a qualified heating or mechanical contractor sounds like a lock out or solenoid which is designed to shut off gas/flame for things like not blowing your backyard up is doing it's job. Or take the advice of a faceless stranger and hope you get it right 400,000 btu is about 7 x's the average home furnace so should be quite a boom

SOURCE: Jandy LAARS LT pool heater blows out the fusible

check for a heater that is leaking current to the water jacket and this would be a ground and if enough current leaks to ground it will open this link you can check this by undoing the heater, then if its ok then you know its the heater or by checking with an ohmmeter

SOURCE: Jandy Laars LT 400,000 Pool/Spa heater. Blows

Hello

You need to check the amperage draw of the motor,The only possibility is a shorted winding in the motor, or a bad motor.

Also check for correct voltage to the motor after the fusible links.Make sure the links are the correct size also.

Voltage and FLA or full load amps should be marked on the motor. You need to be within 5 to 10 percent of that number.

SOURCE: so we have the jandy

This heater wont start if the pressure switch is bad or clogged. Remove the pressure switch and clean it out really well, or just purchase a new one. It should only be $30-$50 depending on where you go to get it

I would suspect that it is not the valve making the noise. I would bet it is the thermal expansion of the metal that you are hearing. Other than that, I have seen cases where there is a flow control valve, and depending on its operation, when it opens or closes on spring power it will over shoot and make a loud clicking noise as the clutch overshoots. This will usually only be about 2-4 clicks though, and around pool equipment I doubt you would hear much of it. I would bet more on the thermal expansion. Kind of like the clicking noise you will hear after you have parked your car and the engine is cooling down.

Check and make sure there is nothing fallen on the igniter or spider webs on it. Anything touching it can cause a problem. Make sure wire is not burnt going to igniter. Gas Valve will lock out after a time period if no Ignition.
