This could be a dozen different things causing this. Do you see ice build up on the back wall? Your freezer coil could be icing over and blocking fan air flow. This can be due to a bad fan, low freon.....

Hi welcome to fix-ya. Your problem is the icemaker is leaking. You see a ice under icemaker? I would change icemaker and replace watervalve. Also use a hairdryer to remove all ice from box. I hope this helps.

Whirlpool gold side by side ice maker not making ice... have replaced the ice maker... still not working, no water to unit... not frozen up... water dispenser is working fine


You have a dual solenoid water valve. Blue for the water and red for the ice-maker. It located in the rear lower part of the frig. The water solenoid needs replacing that will solve your problem. BB

The board will remove by prying at the bottom of the board . Sometimes I can use my hand only , pulling out from the bottom , to remove . Other times , I have to pry from the bottom to remove . Do not try to remove the dispensor frame , only the board .

Ice maker not working


The solenoid on the back is not working or the ice maker is not calling for water.(check the solenoid first)

No water from dispenser ice works fine


My water outlet was frozen and wouldn't let the water through. Turn the fridge off and let it thaw out if this is the case. Regards, Phil, Brisbane Australia

Check the water inlet tube which runs from the outside of the freezer section into the freezer. Look for a blockage of ice. Water valves which seep water can be a cause of this.
