Question about GE Profile Arctica 25.4 Cubic Feet Side-By-Side Refrigerator With Dispenser PSS25MGMWW
My GE refrigerator freezer --It has worked fine until now. This afternoon the freezer temp jumped from 0 to 17, and it won't go down. The area around the door seems quite warm.
We need to check the evaporator fan and the condenser fan. The heat in the door frame is normal when the refrigerator runs normally. But when a control board or fan fails the heat may increase because they are heat strips behind the door or condenser lines placed there to prevent moisture around door seals. We also will need to unplug and have a look at the mother board on back behind a panel. Many times the board will show burn marks on the back or front. When you are ready let me know, Thanks, Sea Breeze
