Question about De'Longhi BCO330T Combination Steam Espresso, Drip Coffee, Cappuccino

Open Question

Bco330t leaking Leak is at the boiler outlet. I suspect that the gasket that seals the boiler outlet/filter holder interface needs replacement. While brewing, most of the boiled water flows through the coffee in the filter holder, but some boiled water flows down the outside of the filter holder without passing through the coffee grinds.

Oil leak on driveway coming from front of engine

Dear Sir,
Here is the oil leaking Problem Identifying Technique

Engine oil leaks from the valve cover gasket are common.

  • The intake manifold plenum gasket may leak and cause increased oil consumption/burning and a spark knock during acceleration; the gasket should be replaced.
  • External oil leaks from valve cover gaskets, intake gaskets (front or rear), and the rear crankshaft (rear main) seal area are common. The rear main seal is an unlikely source. Normally, the bearing cap mating surfaces (as well as the sealing surface between the oil pan and bearing cap) are the source for the leaks.
  • Engine oil leaks at the distributor can be misdiagnosed as leaks from theintake manifold seal, oil pan gasket, or rear crankshaft (rear main) seal. A revised distributor is available if oil is found inside the distributor.
  • If the oil filter casing shows signs of distortion from excessive oil pressure, theoil pump should be replaced.
  • Often misdiagnosed as a leaking oil filter gasket, the oil filter adapter can seep from between the adapter and engine block.
  • Carbon buildup on the top of the piston is common. As the buildup increases with mileage and over time, symptoms may vary from light ticking, to ticking/hammering, to hammering/knocking noises. Fuel injector cleaner often solves the problem.

Water leaking from the left side

    Hi
There are a few things that will leak on the left side
    1. The boiler can leak if not descaled regularly or properly.
    2. The steam boiler can start leaking around the o-ring gaskets or tubes.
    3. The steam valve o-ring can wear out and leak.
Boiler will show whitish scale between the halves and will need to be replaced. The others are just replacing the seals or tubes.

When brewing with the X1, water starts leaking from the underside of the top where the brass filter holder connects to the machine. Tightening the 4 nuts did not help.

    HI
More than likley its your brew head gasket that is leaking. Take off the 4 nuts you hust tighten and it exposes the brew head gasket. Make sure that you put the chrome piece on the same way you took it off. Clean the head good before you put the new gasket on or you could have trouble.
    I would check ebay.

Trying to track down oil leak need cutaway to help find possible locations on engine that could leak motor oil

Best is to pressure wash it - then run and inspect it after the run.

If it's at gearbox join - suspect main crank seal
If it's near oil filter - replace gaskets there.
If near cambelt - expect to replace seals behind there.
    Or head gasket.

Water is leaking from inlet/outlet area. is that a heat exchanger problem?

If there is a water leak in between the pool/spa plumbing and the inlet/outlet manifold, it just needs a new gasket if it is a plastic manifold, and if it is a cast iron manifold, the 2" threads for inlet and outlet need to be unthreaded, then coated with a pipe sealant (non-teflon) then rethreaded.

If this leak is in between the outer and inner inlet/outlet manifold peices, then a new gasket is needed. The part number for that gasket is: 006713f.

If the leak is coming from inside the cabinet and leaking down the interior or exterior, it could be a heat exchanger issue.

The most likely event is that the o-ring that seals the header manifold is worn and needs to be replaced.
This would take about 30 minutes of labor and an o-ring.

Please vote positively if this has helped.

How do I fix a leak from the coffee holder unit

Does it leak around the pod holder, or after the holder is removed?
It it is around then you need to replace the head gasket.
If it is after then the solenoid or the valve seat is damaged.
