Question about HP OfficeJet 7110 All-In-One Thermal Printer

1 Answer

I bought a used HP 7110 and was told it worked good except for the FAX operation. I do not use the FAX. I bought two new ink cartridges. I have copied color material that I placed in the top of the printer. Problem: I cannot print from my Apple computer E-mail file or from my stored files.

At System Preferences the only printer was J5700. I obviously need software for 7110 but I don't have any 7110 software. Can you tell me how to get that software? I purchased the 7110 used without software.

Begin by connecting your printer and installing any software according to the instructions that came with your printer. Next, open System Preferences and click the Print & Fax icon. Use the Print & Fax pane to configure your system to access the printer

If you sent a print job to your printer, but it’s not printing, check to see if the print job is
stopped or on hold by clicking the printer icon in the Dock. (If no icon appears in the
Dock, open Printer Setup Utility in the Applications/Utilities folder and double-click the
printer’s name.) If the window for the printer says “Job Stopped,” click the Start Jobs
button. If “Hold” appears beside the job name, resume printing by clicking the job
name and clicking Resume. If a print job has stopped printing because of a technical
error, you can delete the faulty job by selecting the job and clicking Delete. You can
then try printing the job again.

If your printer doesn’t seem to be working as expected, you may need to check the
manufacturer’s website for updated print drivers. Often the latest printer software is
    available for downloading.

I have an hp officejet 7110 all-in-one and I've been getting a message saying that supply expired on the black cartridge. i replace it and it still won't let me print. what else could be wrong

Hello there:
This problem is usually due to a print head that needs to be replaced
I have provided the information that you will need ok
best regards mike
This document provides information on how to replace a printhead or ink cartridge.A printhead may need replacing when print quality issues cannot be resolved by cleaning the printheads or a front-panel display message indicates a printhead needs to be replaced. An ink cartridge needs replacing when a front-panel display message indicates either:
  • Low ink levels
  • Ink cartridge approaching expiration date
CAUTION: Never remove an ink cartridge and a printhead at the same time. Use the table below to identify the correct ink cartridge part number: Ink cartridge Part number HP 14 black print cartridge C5011A HP 14 tri-color print cartridge C5010A Use the table below to identify the correct printhead part number: Printhead Part number HP 14 black printhead C4920A HP 14 cyan printhead C4921A HP 14 magenta printhead C4922A HP 14 yellow printhead C4923A Replacing the ink cartridges Follow the instructions below to replace the ink cartridges:
  1. Turn on the unit, and open the print-carriage access door by lifting the handle until the door locks into place. Figure 1: Opening the access doorc00064456.jpg

Printing off computer

Most likely your new cartridge has a damaged head. The tiny bit of electronics could have a fault, and therefore not be read properly by the printer. Try taking the cartridge out and cleaning the head with rubbing alcohol - both on the cartridge and the printer - then put it back in. If that doesn't work, try a different cartridge.

Hp printer 7110

hi,

Try to remove the black ink cartridge. From there, you can check the expiry date of the Ink cartridge. If its already expired, then you need to use another black ink cartridge that is not yet expired.

Thank you so much.

Hp officejet 7110 battery and cmos location

The battery is located behind the left front cover. Open the printer, grasp the left front cover from inside the printer and pull to open. Look inside the printer to left and you will see it.
It is enough to remove for a minute to reset the expiration.
But I'm afraid after that the printer may not keep the date and time when turn off.
