I have no display on my Vivatar Dig Camara, whats wrong?

It could be any of several things. The battery could be dead, in which case nothing comes on. The image sensor could be bad, in which case the display won't show the image but will show the menus. The display could be bad, in which case nothing will show.

My vivitar vivicam 8025 has been charging for a while and it wont turn on with out the charger . when connected to the charger and turned on it says MSDC on a blue screen.

Make sure the battery is in the camara correctly. I had the problem with the blue screen and MSDC showing and it would not hold a charge. the battery has to be in correctly. It will go in wrong and look right so match up the silver three marks on the battery to the three marks inside the camara where the battery goes. It worked after i did that. Hope this helps!!!

I am trying to upload pictures from x024 vivitar camera and the letters MSDC show on the monitor.what does that mean

That means that the camera recognizes that it's connected to a computer. You need to control the download process from the computer while the camera just sits there saying "MSDC".

What does msdc mean on a vivitar 8225 camera?

It usually means Mass Storage Divice Class. This "should" only appear when you plug the camera into the computer and than press the power button which lets you vew everything on your camera on your desktop. It is just there to let you know what is going on and that your files are being uploaded it is the vivatar equivalent to a loading bar. If it is on the screen at anyother time and also not working right it may be seriousley broken and should call tech. support to further diagnose the problem. You can either click this link: or you can call to: 1-800-917-4831
Thanks for listening and I hope this helps-Richard
