Question about GE JTP35 Electric Double Oven
The touch pad had gone black. No error message because no lights. The buttons do not work. The oven light comes on when I open the door, and the lower oven, which is controlled by a knob still works. (But the lower oven lights don't come on). What parts might I need to fix this? Is this a FYI project?

SOURCE: Upper Over Touch Pad dead
This may be related to the F7 error problem. I have posted the solution to that problem on this website. Do a search on "Dreaded F7 Problem" and you should be able to open the link. If that doesn't work for you, email at: Hutchipop@yahoo.com and I will send you the solution. Regards, Charlie Popeck, P.E. Consulting Engineer
