There is a fuse for these. Fuse good and has power to it. Look at replacing the light/dimmer switch. If the fuse is good, you need to check for power at the switch plug. Could be a bad wire.. Power or ground.
First you'll need to see what you are loosing at the fog light itself. Is it loosing power are ground. If you do not have power at the light then move to the switch and see if you are getting power to the switch. If your getting power to the switch then check power coming out of the switch on the other side. If power is coming out of the switch then its either the power wire going from the switch to the light OR the light itself is bad. If you do not have power to the switch then check all the fuses and relays. If you do not have ground to the light then apply ground with a wire running from the battery ground and if the light works, you'll need to trace the ground to see if there's a connector between it and the main ground. You'll need a wiring diagram of the vehicle for this step. Hope this helps and please visit my auto-repair-website at: http://www.bigasautorepair.com/
Check your brake light switch for power to and from if no power to it check your fuses and related wiring. If you have power to it check for power coming out while holding down the brake pedal. If no power coming out replace the switch. If power coming out check your ground and related wiring for open/broken
check for power at the light, if no power and fuse ok check for power to switch and power coming out of switch when switched on if there is power to switch but no power out from switch when switched on, switch is faulty, if there is power from switch, wire is broken between switch an fog light
DId you just install something, if you install something like a radio, you probably or someone probably messes with a the illumination wire and too much power is going there, first find the wire, then change the fuse..........
Check your fuses and if you have power coming out of switch when it is depressed.if that is ok check to see if you have power and ground back at the brake light sockets.if power is coming out of switch but not back at lights, look for open in wires also the brake light wires run thru the turn signal switch you could have a faulty turn signal switch.
