I removed the spray wand from the handle and now it will not go back on without using considerable force. Any ideas?

Disclaimer ; I am not a professional ANYTHING . The following is just what I would do , or try . That being said ........
My first thoughts are to turn the machine off and relieve any , and all pressure ( shut off the water , and disconnect the water supply hose ) .
Make sure the connectors on the end of the wand are free of sand , grit , rust , etc .
If that is not enough , to make it work , shine up the male connector with some steel wool , like an " SOS Pad " , or other .
Apply some petroleum jelly , ( like Vaseline ) , then wipe it off , so just the finest film is left .
One last thing , try to see if the connectors are still perfectly round , and not otherwise damaged .
If they ARE damaged , it may mean purchasing a new part .

When I insert the hose into an vacumn outlet nothing happens. I tried pressing the reset button but still nothing.

First, make sure the unit is still plugged in.
2. Ensure the circuit breaker has not blown. This is easily checked by simply plugging another item into the outlet. If it has blown, flip it back on. If it continues to blow, there's a short in the cord or wiring of the vacuum.
3. Is it just one outlet, or all of them. If it's just one, it needs replaced.
4. Check the prongs on the hose, wands, and power nozzle to ensure they haven't shorted out.
5. Use a multimeter or continuity tester to check wires in the hose. Touch lead of the mm or ct to a prong on the hose, the other lead to the connector on the other end of the hose. Check both connectors. One should show continuity, the other will not. Repeat for other prong. If either prong shows zero, hose needs replaced.
6. Motor is burned out and needs replaced.
There are other problems that could cause this, so I recommend taking it to the Broan-NuTone dealer you got it from for them to check the vacuum for problems.

How to change spray hose on grohe kitchen sink ladylux model

I have the Ladylux plus. I was confused on how to remove this as well. There is a quick release plastic piece, just pull down on the yellow part on the connector under the sink. Disconnect the plastic connector from the hose and pull it right out of the faucet. Very easy to remove in this case.

Would a 20 year old homelite vacume hose collaps

If you are speaking of the carburetor connector or carburetor boot that is just below the carb. It does not collapse it becomes rotten and full of holes. This is a very common problem of the 350 and 360 saws. The PN for some if not all is 12048C. You can just google the PN and a lot of suppliers will come up with many showing photo.

Blue Moon Miele power head stops intermittantly

It is not a solid short. This is caused by static arcing in the wand and in the connectors from base to hose. I was able to fix mine by smearing some dialectric grease on all electrical parts in the wand(especially by the led switch) and in the three prong connectors at the base to hose. Have not had nay problems since doing this.

Powermate connection flickers

I had the same problem. Sears has replacement parts for mine (Model 11625813506) here: http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/getModel!retrieve.pd?modelNumber=11625813506&pop=flush

Rather than pay $10 for a new cover terminal (which I probably couldn't install myself anyway), $99 for a whole new wand, and possibly $108 for a whole new hose (ridiculous prices, btw), I took a small flat head screwdriver and scraped off the dirt/corrosion on the terminal pins. This didn't resolve my problem, but I noticed the connection between the extension wand and the "Power mate" hose handle was loose. The handle could wiggle/slide about 1/8" when connected to the wand, creating the loose connection. I used the screwdriver to bend the pins down slightly (in the direction away from the wand tube), to compensate for the loose connection. This worked like a charm, fixed the intermittent circuit contact completely, and was very easy to do. I'd highly recommend trying this, before doing anything more complicated.
