Can roundup be put on wet soil?

Hi,
Yes, the soil can be wet but the leaves of the vegetaion should be dry and there should be no rain for an hour after the application...
The roundup is actually absorbed through the leaves....and then transfered to the root system that way,
That is why the soil condition does not matter...

I am regrading our front yard with topsoil. how do we make sure its level? We need it to slope away from the foundation so the basement stops leaking.

Sounds to me that you have more of an issue with your foundation than slope or grade. Do you have ad quiet drain tile around the foundation ? Is your eve's draining away from the house? Is there to much material built up against the foundation? Gradual slope will help drain water away but this will not help an existing condition. Spend your money to fix the problem , not mask it.
I hope you don't take offense to this, I am only trying to help you, and make sure that your not spending money on the hopes that it will eliminate a problem.

Andrew is ordering the top soil to fill the planter. topsoil is delivered by the cubic yard, and cost $43.00 per cubic yard, tax and delivery included. the determine the cost for the planter.

How big is the planter, what are its demensions. Figure out how many yards in the planter, Right? Either full yards or partial. Or you can buy the top soil in bags, start filling the planter, and when you over fill and spill on the ground you have the right amount, Also you must ask are there plants in the planter, because they will take up some room with their roots.. Good luck...By the wayis this a left handed planter or a right handed planter, ????

Cubic

hmmm... is this a real gardening question, or am I about to do your math homework? Your dimensions amount to 5.5 cubic feet or 0.2 cubic yards.

If you're planning to buy bagged topsoil, it's hard to say the number of bags because they are sold by weight, which depends on moisture content. You could start with about six 50 pound bags and see how it looks.
