- Sorry about this late response, it took a bit longer. The high voltage capacitor incl. the 8A fuse had gone. A friendly local repair guy charged me A$95.00 for the lot, which I think is very reasonable.

There is a fuse located on the electronic board inside the microwave that could be the issue.

If the fuse is not the problem, then you will need a serviceman as they can be quite complex.

You need to take the cover off it to be certain.

NOTE: If it is stainless steel, be very careful as it is extremely sharp!
