Yep, you'll be safe. It's capable of delivering 225W x 2 RMS and 600W x 1 RMS into 4 Ohm loads.

If you are trying to use what you already have it would work, if you are buying, go with an 899 watt of coourse. Do you forsee using all 800 watts anyway?

Yes the amplifier will become very warm or "hot". It is a good idea to place it in an area that will recieve plenty of ventilation and air flow. Some companies sell cooling fans for larger amps.

On the sony xplod 800 watt amp what are the 2 fuzes in the back for?

The fuses should be 30Amps each and they are there as a protection system in case of a power surge. They will blow before damaging your amplifier. However it is not a 100% fail safe proof.

I Have a Sony Xplod 800 watt amp and 2 12 inch Sony Xplod subs

You should definately bridge them. Firstly, lay the 2 speakers face down next to each other. Note the connections +- +-. The first + will go to the amplifier. The next terminal(-) will be connected to the next speaker(+). Take the last(-) and connect to amplifier. Please note that your amplifier has a bridge section which is normally the first + and the last- on the two channels. Connect your woofers on the bridge.
