From what I can see on different forums they were manufactured in the usa in the 1950s in Pennsylvania possibly by a company called dominion if it is a jewelled swiss movement there should still be parts available

SOURCE: Good morning. I am considering

The repair to the winder may be only £30.00 but will the watch then work well.Parts for old Omegas can cost a premium and the watch may need a service.A service to an Omega by a good watchmaker will cost £170.00 ish and if it needs parts this will rise.
As to value if its 14ct on a bracelet the gold is worth about £12.00 a grm so if its 30g then the gold is £350/£400.00
Its hard to say what to pay without knowing if the watch works well,if it needs £200.00 spending on it the value is reduced to little more than the gold value so id weigh the watch work out a gold value and then a small amount.
If you need a repair try www.rolexrepairs.co.uk they offer a free estimate.
Regards

I have a Jules jurgenson watch with serial# 752161 and JXJ stamped on back of it too it has 17 jewels unadjusted Swiss and says Jules jurgenson Corp can u tell me anything about it

The company is Danish, but they were sold in the US by a distributor. Yours is an older one, prior to the name change in 1811, or after 1936.

Jules Jurgensen was a watchmaking company. It was founded by J?rgen J?rgensen in 1740 in Denmark, when J?rgen J?rgensen went into partnership with Isaac Larpent, under the name "Larpent & J?rgensen".
Upon J?rgen's demise in 1811, his youngest son Frederik took over the company and changed the name to "Frederik J?rgensen".
Jules J?rgensen produced many watches in Switzerland. Jules J?rgensen was sold to a company in the US in 1936, and the watches were still produced in Switzerland until 1957, at which time it was first documented that the watches were made by others and have their name put on them.
The company was sold to Mort Clayman in 1974, a watch distributor in the US. According to the company's website, they Mort Clayman died in January 2010, and the company was closed by his family. In 2011, Dr. Helmut Crott, owner of Urban J?rgensen & S?nner acquired the rights from the Clayman family.

I have a 18k gents gold Rewel 17 RUBIS incabloc watch that isnt working,i took it to a good jewellers and they sent it off for an estimate for repair, but it came back with advice to take it to an...

The incabloc movement is not too expensive but it sounds like your watch is! I am not sure the movements are available for the older watches anymore, your watch will need the right measurements, so if you take it to a watchmaker they have many older parts and may have a watch movement to fit it! The picture in my profile is of a very expensive 6 ounce gold ladies watch with an incabloc movement. The watch was thought to be from Europe somewhere , it was sold for its beauty and the movement itself did not work! Hope this helps explain your problem a little better! thank you!

Trying to date vintage Bulova ladies 17 jewel watch Swiss movement. The code stamped on the back of the watch is W80701

The best people to consult is the manufacturer.

Go to http://www.bulova.com/contact/contact.aspx (click on this link) and you will see a number of contact address.

Contact them and I would expect them to be able to dig out the information you require.

How do you open back to change battery?

Swiss Army watches require a special tool. You will need to call your local jewelers and ask if they do Swiss Army watches as not every jeweler has the tool to do it.
Good luck

How do you open the case for a Bucherer automatic watch?

I would suggest taking this watch to your local Jeweler, a mom and pop Jeweler if there is one close to you and have them look at it. They most generally don't charge anything to look at it. Then they could give you an estimate if needed, to fix it. Without seeing this watch it's hard to say however automatic, have you tried gently rocking it back and forth, some of these watches do not wind up just wearing them with the movements of your arm keeps them ticking.

Case info does not help in dating a watch, A movement serial number helps greatly.
