Question about Singer Pixie Plus Sewing Machine
When i start to sew it seems like a perfect stitch but then i realize the upper and lower thread are not locking together in the fabric. What to do?
The easiest possible option is that the bobbin is not threaded correctly. This happens to my students and 99% of the time the bobbin thread is going the wrong direction, ex: it's flipped to go counter clockwise instead of clockwise.

Check to be sure the needle is in securely and correctly. Also, make sure you are using the proper type needle. There are various types, depending on the type of fabric. The suggestion regarding the bobbin being put in right is very good. Sometimes you have to bring the thread over the bobbin case in a certain way or it won't work.

I had this problem and it all came down to using the wrong backing. I kep trying to use tearaway on everything but WRONG. Using the proper backing corrects most problems. Good Luck!

Make sure that there is tension on the thread when you have passed it through the tension unit, by making sure the presser foot is down, and then gently pulling the thread to feel tension. If there is no tension, as seems to be the case, check the tension discs inside the unit to make sure that there is no debris stopping them from closing.

SOURCE: thread tangled in the bobine
I had this same problem yesterday. I took apart the needle tension casing and now it doesn't get tangled or stop. The only thing is the bobbin is not sewing...it looks fine on the top, but the bottom is just loose loops.
