Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Why can't I get Netflix on my TV?

This TV is a Netcast TV, not a Smart TV, also Netcast is country dependant, which means that the content is limited to:
  1. Country Purchased
  2. Country operated in.

Left half of screen dimmer than right

same issue with my 47le5900 - I have fixed it... if I look through the back panel I can see a circuit board on the right... coming out of this at the top are two flat data cables, each about 1 1/2 inches wide, one is labeled (L) the other (R), it seems the (R) one was a little loose, so I pressed it downwards with a small screwdriver, problem solved.

Hi, the YouTube on my lg tv is not working I've checked my Internet connection and everything else on netcast is working but YouTube. I've tried turning everything off from The mains but still no...

If all the other streaming apps are working, then this is not an issue with the TV. This would be a Youtube issue alone. If available, you might want to make sure the firmware of the TV is up to date. Hope this helps : )

I am trying to connect my LG LED TV to the internet bit i don't know how.

This HDTV is Internet-ready. To view Internet apps on this TV, you may also need:
  • Broadband Internet service
  • A router
  • Cabling
  • A Wi-Fi adapter (if there is not one built in)
  • A PC for subscriptions or payments
You need to purchase a CAT5 network cable to plug your TV into your Router for a Network connection for Netflix, Yahoo! TV Widgets, etc (for USA). Also used for video, photo and music files on a local network.

Here is your manual for your device, open this file: http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchfield.com/Manuals/689/68942LE55.PDF
Select Netcast manual for more information.

Your TV may have Netcast, click here for more information: http://www.lg.com/us/netcast/index.jsp

I have a LG 47Inch LE5400 LED TV and I'm trying to activate netflix. I can't find where on the tv options or the remote to access netflix? I don't see a netflix option anywhere.

On the LG remote, push the "netcast" button, which is between Menu and Q.Menu.
You need to have a Netcast account set up at Netcast.com
