Question about eMachines Computers & Internet
I suggest finding a friend or maybe inviting someone from work who seems technical to give you a hand or advice. You will be surprised what people will do for a case of beer and a friend.
Also, this problem is common with computers with just too many background processes running.
If it is only your internet that is slow and not the rest of the computer you can try a speed test (http://speedtest.shaw.ca) and call your ISP to see if the number you are getting is appropriate. (Ex 10 Mbit)
I suggest having a technical friend over because there is a lot of possible causes and it may need someone to just look at the computer for you.
Until then try Firefox Browser, I find it faster than the others.
