Question about Computers & Internet
I think it's wrong that Facebook was untruthful I'm feeling a bit scammed. My license in return for a code. And they did not keep their end of the deal
You sound like you were scammed. Normally you would just get a link sent to your email account to reset your password. I hope your license number isn't your social security number, but I would keep an eye on my accounts and credit report. Try to get an new license number and call the police just to be safe.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Can't Get Into My Facebook
I had this problem 4 weeks ago, and I emailed firstname.lastname@example.org (or email@example.com, can't remember) and they got back to me 2 weeks after with a really nice reply, and sorted it out for me. Put my account back to normal, and gave me a new password.
They were absolutely lovely, and when I emailed them back to say thanks they even sent me another email saying 'no problem'.
Just email them and be patient :)

I think this is due to cookies.
Google Chrome options -
1. Click on "Tools" (Spanner in the right corner under the close page X)
2. Click on "options" (11th option down)
3. Click "under the bonnet"
4. Click "content settings"
5. Keep on the cookies section. Make sure it's on "allow local data......" Click "Exceptions"
6. Type in the facebook ULR
7. Do the same (click exceptions) for all of the others BUT NOT POP UPS!!!
Hope I helped Dr Reed

i had the EXACT same problem. You need to remove "firstname.lastname@example.org" from your blocked senders in your hotmail options! After that, i managed to get the security code. I totally understand how frustrating this is because no one could help. Hope this works for you

I experience the same since yesterday and this whatever be the browser (tried with IE8, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Opera and Safari for Win XP). So, my connexion works fine for all other sites and using all piece of software. I've also tried to clear browser cache, cookies and history, it's the same... So what next ?
