Question about Toshiba Six Head Vcr Deck M-752 W/ Remote & Godfather Vhs 1st Edition

Blowing fuses when power is applied on my Toshiba VHS M-754

Plug was shorted and blew the fuse and breaker in the house. When I replace the fuse and apply power the fuse will blow. I am thinking something up the line shorted and I am hoping you might have a schematic for me. Without having Sam's around it is hard to get any schematic's to troubleshoot any thing. Hope you can help me out.

You might have to change the entire power cord as well as the plug

Testimonial: "I checked the power cord and it checked out ok. I have found a burnt place on the PC board. The burnt area is around the C826, C827, D828, D829 & D830. I was hoping the spike hadn't went that far. Hope this might help with this problem. Thanks again."

No power. Will not turn on

It may have tripped the internal breaker, and or the house circuit breaker. Go tot the house fuse box and check that first.

Blowing breaker

In general house hold circuit breaker of the house is 15 Amps or 20 Amps.

Either you have defected (weak) circuit breaker and wiring or bad Microwave oven.

The 99.99 % house hold Microwave ovens pull less than 15 Amps. They may have internal ceramic 15A fuse or 15 Amp internal circuit breaker.

To isolate your problem:

1. Plug your Microwave oven to different areas (different electrical circuit) if the different circuit breaker still trips... your Microwave oven has a short - Most of them has a small ceramic fuse 15 amps fuse.-also check some inter lock switches at door .

2. If the Microwave oven works Ok then you may have:

2a. You may overload the existing electrical circuit, try to unplug some other appliances

2b. You may have bad electrical outlet receptacle (Replace it with the same type , - may need helps from licensed electrician)

2c. Weak or defect house hold circuit breaker. (Replace it with the same type , brand - may need helps from licensed electrician)

92 Toyota pickup, was blowing efi fuse now its not but when I turn the key it doesn't do anything

A bad short blowing the fuse. Could be in the wiring for that circuit, or bad part, component (like the computer, sometimes a shorted injector).
Check if the fuse still has power to it. Use a test light to check for power at the fuse. If no power, probably blew a fusible link or maxi fuse that is the feed for that fuse block.
Turn key to on-do the warning lights and dash gauges come on? If not, check that power is still getting to the ignition switch. I think there are fuses (AM1 &2?) for the ignition switch, not fusible links.
Shorts in the wiring can be difficult to find, may be buried deep in a wiring harness, one needs to check continuity of wiring to locate wiring shorts, looking for high resistance in a section of wire-you may need a shop to diagnose. If you have a wiring diagram available, could start checking wiring and parts in that circuit.
If you want to get creative, here is how an auto electrician can hunt for shorts: use some jumper wires and hook up a circuit breaker of same rating as the efi fuse in that fuse slot. Now when testing you will not be constantly blowing the fuse-circuit breaker will reset every time. Unhook parts in the circuit one at a time, turn key on so power is going through the circuit, whatever part is unplugged that breaker does not trip, that is the problem-the wiring to it or the part itself. Also do a wiggle test of the wiring: key on, move different parts of the wiring and harness, if you cause the short tripping the breaker (or blowing the fuse if you just keep adding a new fuse each time) then you have found the short.
Here's a heads up: anytime you want to pull the connectors off of the computer, make sure key is off, remove negative battery terminal, pull connectors off the computer, reattach the negative battery terminal. With connectors off examine connector pins for any corrosion or bent pins.
Good luck, get power back to the ignition switch if it is lost, then start looking for what is blowing the efi fuse.

F9A03 fuse on main power board keeps blowing. tried replaceing it and blew again

This indicates an electrical short causing the fuse to "safety". Check your house wiring first e.g. the plug and then precede from there.

Whirlpool lgr7648pq0 gas dryer no longer heating; just blowing air; no exhaust issues;

More than likely you have a burned up heating element. There is a remote possibility that you have a blown circuit breaker or fuse in your house. The blower is wired for and only requires 120 volts but the heater element requires 220 volt service. Usually there are two circuit breakers in your house breaker or fuse panel that provide power for the dryer. One of them may be tripped/blown and the other one may be ok..still on...and providing power to the blower. So...check to make sure there is not a blown fuse or circuit breaker tripped. This is the easy solution if it applies but probably the heating element is bad and will need replacing.

Power windows in MPV keeps blowing fuses

you might have a short to ground problem. the circuit is complete from the battery to ground. Check the wire from the fuse to the load, and chances are there's a spot in it where the wire is touching ground.
