We converted our weber Q q120 so it would work off our RV propane tank. It has a very low flame. We took the regulator off the grill and are using quick connect and a 15 ft hose to the grill. Help?

Your RV Propane System works on a different pressure than your, gas grill. Reinstalling the regulator may correct the pressure difference. Then install a short pipe nipple into the regulator and install a shutoff valve. After the shutoff valve, reinstall your quick disconnect hose. from here on after, each time you connect the hose to the grill, be sure the shutoff valve is OFF before making the connection. Then open the shutoff valve very, very, slowly, so as not to lock up the regulator.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Happy Grilling!!

Where do i conect to do a gas presure test on a atwood DSI RV gas valve

Using a manifold and manometer, you connect between propane line feed and valve. A quick check at stove should give you system pressure as well.

Gas will not stay lit the lighter wil ignite for about 4 seconds then diminish

Your propane supply may be nearly exhausted, or your gas valve is having trouble staying open.

To check the gas valve, you will need a helper. Turn the fridge off. Open the lower outside vent. Put a finger on the gas valve. Ask helper to turn it on, you should feel the solenoid snap. If you don't feel it release and flame dies out, then gas valve may be defective. Measure the voltage with a multimeter instead of using finger. If voltage remains when flame dies, then defective gas valve.

If the gas valve snaps shut and then flame dies, you are looking at a corroded / damaged / misaliged flame sense. You will need a service manual, or the procedure to clean may be listed in the owner's manual. Either way, clean the electrode assembly, and reassemble. If still same problem, follow high tension wire back to circuit board, and make sure it is on good and tight with clean connections. If still not working, the replace the electrode assembly. If it remains inoperable, then circuit board may be defective. Most RV shops now have the ability to test circuit boards before purchasing a replacement.

On an atwood water heater, I have a small yellow flame at the main burner orifice, but nothing comes through the burner tube. The tube is clean and so is the orifice. The gas valve is new.

You need to have a manometer (pressure test) done on your system. If all that is new and clean, as stated, then you either have low pressure or a faulty/improper, gas control. How's the flames look on stove burners?

Rangemaster Disconnect the gas to move house

I dont know if your in the UK but if you do disconnect your gas feed the way MrMark has mentioned you will be breaking the law.. you'll need to be corgi registered to do it that way.

Again if you are in the UK, some gas supplies were fitted with a quick release system.

With this all you need to do is slide your cooker out, locate the connection at the wall, not the back of the stove.

Press down on the top of the connector and turn the pipe coming out about 1/4 of a turn and it will release and self seal the gas outlet.
