Hi i have dawalance spirit ac 1.5 ton it is not working when out door take start after 2 minutes its again turn off and only fan is working tell me reason

Test microFn on capacitor(located in top of outdoor unit) if it test correctly then test Oms of compressor. I don't know this brand of A/c unit but it can also be LP cut out switch. If there's a gas leak and the pressure is to low safety switch kicks in and stops compressor from starting up.

Hope this was useful

How to fix air conditioner in 1985 toyota hiace

My 1986 would leak. The HP and LP hose coonections to the compressor where lose. Tightened up and stopped most leaking. I added leak detector and found the LP fill connection Schrader valve seat was bad. Put in a new Schrader valve (bought off ebay for cheap- but a couple of extras) and all leaks stopped. Night not be compressor itself. Have a pro check the system for leaks.

Is it possible you hooked up to the factory service port on the high side instead of the low side port ?
Can you hook up a set of gauges to both high and low ports ?

Freezer not making ice pressures -5 suction 170 head and 1.1 amps what do u think the problem is?

How about thermostat settings? Set it half way for freezer and one setting below for fridge, control.

Also check:

a) evaporator fan, (the one in the freezer) it should come strong on if you let freezer door open for a couple of minutes.

b) cooling fan underneat fridge and make sure air can circulate.
c) when compressor kiks in, should stay on for a while, if not, check thermal protection bimetal switch, (little round plastic device w/ a wire coming out of it, inserted in compressor common prong) you should be able to hear a click when it cuts juice to compressor. Check compressor temp. at cut off.

Let's work on this for right now, let me know if helpful, if not, will try something else..

Good luck

F250 5.8 efi. will not run at all on petrol. starts and runs on lpg, but at 3400rpm back fires through the intake and stops. all lpg components are new. 02 senser is new, could it be the computer ?

not the computer what is going on is that the fuel cut off solenoid when you switch to lp / reg gas either lost its voltage and it not opening and also check the air gap at the top of the mixer head on the throttle body and this!! info comes from a man with 40 years in LP gas installer with a class 10 licence on LP and natural gas servicing and repairs >>ME!

The motor doesn't shut off when compressor reaches cut-out pressure, and doesn't start when tank pressure drop below cut-in pressure.

Hello. W/D here.

Normally, one setting or the other is the issue. When both are issues, one has to suspect mechanical damage. You can try to adjust the "quick and dirty" way:
Start the compressor and when you get to where you want it to cut off, pull the plug....really. Now, adjust the HP spring adjustment until the contacts break.
Then, open the drain on the tank, and let the pressure fall to where you want it to cut in. Close the valve. Adjust the LP adjustment until the contacts make.
There is also a differential pressure adjustment in some pressure switches; if you adjust this to narrow or widen your range, you must challenge and retest your upper and lower settings.
If you cannot manipulate the settings to open or close the contacts, the problem is probably mechanical. and the switch should be replaced. These are wierd little pieces of equipment; they are pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical, all at the same time. Sometimes you have to just hoist the flag and get a new one!
Good luck, and best regards, --W/D--

How to test a pressure sensor switch on a air compressor

Hi, W/D here.

To accurately test a switch, it has to be removed from the compressor and tested by raising the pressure and lowering it with air supplied from a known, good regulator. The trip pressures are then noted and adjusted.
The quick and dirty way of "getting close enough" is a little different. Start the compressor, and when it gets to your desired cutoff pressure, pull the plug. Adjust the HP spring untill the contacts trip out. Now, with the compressor still unplugged, drain the pressure off of the tank until you reach your desired cut in pressure, and close the valve. Adjust either the LP cut in or the differential pressure adjustment to set the cut in pressure. The contacts will pull in. If you adjust the cut in pressure with the diff pressure setting, the cut out pressure has to be challenged and set again. Whichever method you follow, you always need to check the upper and lower settings after each adjustment.
Best regards, --W/D--

Another reason for this is either low on gas or faulty hp/lp switch. Check if you are getting power at the compressor. If not check the high/low pressure switch is not preventing the compressor from coming on. This can happen if the system is either low on gas or overcharged, or the condenser is clogged up.
