SOURCE: When I try to sign into Yahoo Messenger 9.0 I get

You might have some options to fix it: firstly; this error occurs when your connection preferences are not properly set. I'm not talking about your Yahoo! ID and Password here, but you may need to adjust certain features depending on what network you're on. Maybe, i think you should check your firewall settings. If you use Personal Firewall, make sure it allows your connection to receiving incoming connections and allows you to use yahoo messenger,check it out, may be it blocked your yahoo messenger. if a firewall protects your network, it may block yahoo messenger when it tries to connect to the server. You need to change your connection settings, click the Messenger menu in yahoo messenger and select Connection Preferences. Select Firewall With No Proxies. Select your Internet Connection type from the pull-down menu at the bottom and enter your Home Country if the adoptions aren’t grayed out. Click OK and login again using the new settings. If this option doesn’t work, click Connection Preferences in Yahoo! Messenger again and select No Network Detection. Try to login again using the new settings. In some instances, you may need to provide yahoo messenger with the IP address of your firewall or proxy server (you can get this information from your network administrator or from your Internet service provider). Click Messenger and select Connection Preferences again. Select Use Proxies. Enable either the HTTP Proxy or the SOCKS Proxy as needed and provide the proper address. Click OK and login again using the new settings.

Or other way, open your Internet Explorer>Go to File>Then, 'uncheck Work Offline', make sure your Internet connection is not working offline. Then, close Internet Explorer, try to sign in your yahoo messenger.

thirdly, if you are using IM9 there are sign in problems. This is what yahoo has to say. Try an updated version of Yahoo! Messenger 9.0( This latest build includes a fix for the sign-in issues that have been affecting some users. If you were seeing an error code“81003004” when trying to sign in, this latest version may fix that problem. Even if you were experiencing a different kind of sign-in issue, I recommend installing this latest version. Hope it was helpful and it works to solve your problems.. Please kindly support me.. Thank You!

SOURCE: My screen is flickering too, but i found intresting response here

Try reseating the lcd cables on the lcd and to the motheboard as well.

Also if you want to verify if its a power problem with your wireless card causing the screen to flicker, remove the card completely and see if the flickering stops. If it does then its bad and the wireless card needs to be replaced. Remember that the wires for your wireless card comes from the LCD so it could quite possibly be a wiring problem as well, make sure there are no breaks in the wires that are being exposed cause that could cause problems.

Hola someone tell me how to change up into proxy server help.

What is your default browser? Settings for using a Proxy server differs from each browser. For example, The settings for Mozilla Firefox browser are as follows,
  1. Click Tools->Options;
  2. "General", "Connection Settings";
  3. Select "Manual Proxy Configuration";
  4. Enter proxy IP and port to appropriate fields;
  5. Click OK to close Connection Settings;
  6. Click OK to close Options;
  7. Reload browser.
You must also be aware that the use of proxy servers without the express permission from the owner of the proxy server may be illegal in some states and/or countries. Use at your own risk.
Using a Proxy server masks your real IP address with a masked IP address. You can ensure this by visiting www.IP-Details.Com and check your IP before and after using a Proxy server.

I cant use facebook or youtube but i can use other internet sites

The sites are most likely blocked by a proxy program or internet content settings. Is this a work or school pc? if it is your personal pc and you can dictate the proxy settings, Open Internet Explorer, click tools, Internet Options, Select the connections tab, Click Lan Settings, Uncheck the option to use the proxy server. Try that.

Google Chrome's connection settings and security settings are controlled by Internet Explorer's settings.

It appears by your error statement, that the Proxy Server settings in Internet Options has been changed to by pass the standard default of No Proxy Server. Sometimes Email Anti Spam Software can change this.

This should fix you up regarding the Proxy issue:

1. Click on Start and click on Control Panel.

Depending on your control panel view of Categories or Classic View:
1. Look for Network and Internet Connections category then Internet Options.
3. If in Classic View, double left click on Internet Options.
4. When Internet Properties opens, click on the Connections Tab and then the button LAN Settings near the bottom.

If the option to Use A Proxy Server... is checked then un-check it and click OK. Click OK again and re-open Google Chrome and see how it responds.

Let us know if you have further issues by using the "add a comment" link.

Thank you.

I formatted my system and reinstalled Win XP on it, but now I could not use wireless to connect with internet

Make sure you have Wireless network adapter driver installed.

Manually assigned IP address and DNS address as earlier (if your IP setting is not automatically assigned by DHCP server).

If you are using router set your Router IP address as your Default Gateway Address.

If you are using Internet through a Proxy Server then Open "Internet Explorer ",
Click "Tools",
Click "Internet options",
click on tab called "Connection",
Click "Lan settings" Button.
Remove "Automatically detect settings".
Tick "use a proxy server for your LAN....."
Type the IP address of your Proxy Server and the port no.

It will work.
