Question about Nintendo NES Console
Despite having it refurbished, my NES won't display anything on tv (only certain games work at certain times)
Blow in the cartridge.

Testimonial: "As i found out on my own, it isn't the cartridge that gets dusty,, it's the console that needs blowing into!"

Yes, this is a 72 pin connector problem. The connector has become dirty or oxidized and needs replacing or cleaning. Problem can usually be solved by buying a NES console Pin cleaner which inserts like a game. The "Eliminator" is one which works great wet or dry to eliminate this problem.

When using component video cables and a HDTV: Go into the Wii's system
settings, under Screen, change TV Resolution to HDTV (480p) instead of
Standard TV (480i) and change to Widescreen (16:9) under Widescreen
This worked for me, good luck!

first off flip your nes upside down and remove the screws to the cover of nes..... then flip your nintendo over and remove the cover.... remember you just voided your warranty for your nes..... then proceed to do the following:
find Chip 3193A and find the 4th pin on the left hand side near the blue coils. Remove or pull back the pin and your NES Will play Pal and NTCS games.
