SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

I need to access the O/S's repair console

Hi,
First of all read this PDF:
http://www.tensas.k12.la.us/tentech/download/Techinbox.pdf

Restore Factory Setup:
  1. Open Tech-In-A-Box
  2. Click the "Restore Factory Setup" button. You should see a warning explaining that you are about to destroy all personal files. This process will remove all of your personal files and settings, but it will also remove what was causing the problem with your system.
  3. To continue with the restore of the factory settings, press the OK button.
Your computer will now shutdown and restart to begin the restore process. You will now see a message stating that "System Restore in progress. Please do not interrupt this operation or turn off your computer". You are now restoring your system. This process can take 30 minutes or more. When the process is complete, the system will reboot.
Click on this link or copy and paste the complete link into your browser.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.

I want to reset my laptop to it original version

if it has a recovery partition f11+ctrl when booting and you will come to a factory restore menu, you should be able to restore the system to the factory settings this way. if it does not have the partition you will have to do it the hard way witch entails re-installing the OS, finding drivers, and installing programs needed ( browser of your preference, antivirus, etc.)

How can I restore my system settings in my computer

Well there are several ways to approach this, 1st you can use system restore, to take your system back to a date that it worked fine, to do that go to the start pearl in the search bar type in system restore, click the Icon for system restore it will give you a calendar with several restore points that your computer has saved along the way. your system will go back to those exact settings, now if this is a virus issue, that is beyond system restore then a complete factory default is in order. Depending on what type of computer you have some have build in restore partition that are build in your windows OS. if thats the case simply hit F8 during start up and choose repair your computer and them choose restore to factory condition, this will delete any files you have on your computer and restore it to out of the box condition. System restore will not delete your data but, often restore points themselves are corrupted, my recommendation is to back up your files and do a complete factory restore.
Hope this helps please feel free to ask any follow up questions you may have on this thread.
Take care :)

Have a virus on my toshiba laptop, can i resolve this by restoring the factory settings?

Hi Andrewfairwa.

Yes, you may remove all the security threats in the Computer by restoring it to the Factory settings.

But, restoring the Computer to the Factory settings will also delete the Data in the Hard Drive.

Hence, you may try performing a Complete System Scan to check for any Virus or security threats.

You may perform the Complete System Scan by using the Anti-virus Application installed in the Computer.

If you have not installed any Anti-virus Application installed in the Computer, you may perform a online System Scan.

Let me provide the detailed steps to perform the online System Scan.

You may perform the free Online Scan by visiting the below link:

http://www.bitdefender.com/scanner/online/free.html

Please open the above link and click on "Start Scanner".

This will start the free Online System Scan.

Once the Scan is complete, check if the Virus or any security threats are removed from the Computer.

If there are still any threats, then you may backup all the important Data and restore the Computer to the Factory settings.

Hope this helps.

Please feel free to ask further questions.

To restore your laptop to its previous or factory settings try using the system restore option. You can access the System Restore by navigating to Start--> All Programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> System Restore. After opening the System Restore Tool you select this option " Restore computer to an earlier time". Then you can see the calender displaying the present month and some bold dates in it. You can go back to the month of the purchase your computer and then select one of the bold dates and click "Next". Then the system will restore and it re-starts on its own. Configuration error after trying to restore system

Go into system restore under windows system tools and rest your restore point to one prior to restoring your computer to original factory condition. Then wait until you can determine which configuration error is the problem and then restore to original settings. Good Luck

Factory restore

On a laptop there is no factory setting reset option (unless you mean bios reset ). To get the laptop back to the initial 'as new' condition you need to re-install the system using the recovery disk on startup. Put recovery cd 1 inside laptop cd drive and restart the computer. Follow instructions for complete restore.
If you do complete restore you can lose all your data.
