Yes, if you have the manual that comes with it just follow the wiring guide. If you don't have it the download the manual and follow the wiring and mounting guide.

Honeywell lr1620

I do not believe that LR1620 is a model number, you may need to find another number. Try this link to see if maybe it's your thermostat or not. The stamp LR1620 is actually on multiple thermostats. Hope this helps!

Read down the PDF file till you see the instructions on setting the heat anticipator.

Honeywell thermostat

Honeywell has made a huge number of thermostats over the years. Directions for each are specific to each model. Your model number will begin with the letters, T, TH, RTH, C, or CT and is on the back of the thermostat.
Once you have the model number, you can obtain the owner & programming information by supplying it on the Honeywell webpage, here.
If you are having trouble, either contact Honeywell directly - or repost here.
Good luck!

I have a Honeywell LR1620 Thermostat that I am replacing with a Honeywell RTH230B. I se where all the wires go to on the new thermostat EXCEPT the blue wire that is attached to the "W2" terminal...

If your old t-stat had a W2 terminal with a blue wire connected, and your new t-stat does not have a W2 terminal, then you may have purchased the wrong t-stat. The old is a 2 stage heat where your new is a 1 stage heat. 2 stage heat means the tstat will engage 2 heat elements, then if it continues to get cool inside, the Tatar will engage w2 and the remaining 1 or 2 heat elements. If you want it like it was to begin with, you'll need a 2 stage heat 1 stage cool tstat.

I have a thermostat that I lost the manual for. I need to know how to program it -all it syas is RTH3208. Thanks.

RTH indicates that it is a Honeywell thermostat, however that additional number does not match. Honeywell's site saysto find the model number, look on the back of the device. take a look at: http://yourhome.honeywell.com/home/Applications/FindOwnersManual.aspx

Honeywell RTH6350/RTH6450 Thermostats - Have two that had to be replaced as heat would not work at all. Had Honeywell tech on for 1/2 hour he could do nothing from India!! Wondering if these were...

The problem with the honeywell brand is that the only dependable units begin with TH not RTH the RTH is for residential and you can purchase those at a local home improvement store. Go on Ebay and spend the money for a quality t-stat. "you get what you pay for"

Honeywell RTH 221 Programmable Thermostat. Jumper missing

The proper way to do it would be to use a small piece of wire stripped at the ends. Then use a small amount fo solder on each end to connect RC to RH. Or use a small piece of solid(stiff) wire and strip the ends. The wrap the ends around the connector and crimp them to make contact. I would not use a paper clip. A paper clip is not designed to carry 24volt current and could melt.

Y1 means for cool and W1 means for heat. Connect accordingly.
