Check and replace its horizontal scan output transistor. If this transistor is leaky, this kind of fault can occur, due to overheating with time. SOURCE: sony tv wont turn on, standby light just flashes

check for an open resistor on the power supply, it is actually a fusible resistor, (white) if open, then check the converter, some sets have two separate and some have it as one. it will be on a heat sink on the power supply. if shorted then check for a shorted horizontal output transistor and repair cold solder joints on the horizintal drive transformer which is the real cause of this problem

Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.
You should have its original remote control to enter the service mode. No universal remote control will go.

Philips 21rf vardaan lot fault

And when you hit it, it sometimes works?
Did you check the solder close to and on the HT transformer?
Please if you are not an electronic engineer, don't open the television, because voltages up to 25.000 volts are there. That can kill you.
