Try cleaning the game pack out with qutips and rubbing alcohol to see if it makes a difference. It might just be a fact that these are older games and are out of date. I hade a problem with excite bike 2000 it would freeze and glitch up and not show all of the words when I put it on pause. When I had cleaned it out it was fine. It could be that then.

after you load up 007 you must go to key codes to select your game. Then you turn it off and put that game in. It wont start again if you put the wrong game in so dont screw up. Then you can select cheat codes.

SOURCE: Can't play wii games

If Wii gives Disc Read Error, first step you need to check is to try another disc or clean the exisitng disc. This will confirm that problem is with either Wii or Disc. If the console itself is giving disc read error then it needs to be repaired. You may check out DIY Wii Fix Guide, that will show step by step information to fix the problem yourself. It also gives information on fixing many Wii Related Problems, so its a kind of Wii Problems Reference Fix Guide......................................

SOURCE: my Nintendo DS Lite will only power on in GBA mode

make sure there is no games in the slot, then see if you can get around using the directional buttons and the a button. if you can get to the settings menu, go to the calibrate screen option. if you cannot calibrate the screen, (if the target moves but you cannot finish the calibration) then you probably have a bad screen. here is a website that can sell you ds lite parts. they are not cheap, so buy what you need, and only what you need.

SOURCE: When playing Lego Harry Potter for the Wii the

It is a game issue fortunately. I thought there was something wrong with my Wii as well, but after reading tons of forum posts across the internet on many sites from people with the exact same problem, even with new consoles, the answer was clear.
This game has freezing problems for all versions, not just Wii. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure the Wii can't download patches for its games, unlike the 360, PC, and PS3, So I have no idea how they are gonna solve this problem. Maybe recall the game and re-issue it?
Anyways, If other games work fine, your Wii is alright. If other games do not work all the time, or also freeze up on you, get a Wii Lens Cleaning Kit. I got one off of Amazon.com for super cheap (around 10 bucks), and it works like a dream, my console ran like new again. Hope this helps others who are concerned about this issue.
Buy Wii Lens Cleaning Kit on Amazon.com

My nintendo 64 cuts out part way through a game

This is an old system, so there are several possible issues.
Some games require a memory expansion pack. You can usually find this on the Internet. It'll increase your RAM levels-essentially, a new RAM chip. To simplify a bit, that's short-term memory. If your game is skipping and losing audio before your console crashes, this is a likely problem.
Your game itself could be the issue. To clean its data contact points, put your mouth near it and suck air in. This removes dust from inside. Now, if it still doesn't work, get some nail polish remover and a Q-tip, and scrub at blackish-colored spots until they fade away a bit. (This solution works with GameBoy/DS as well.)
Your console is outdated. It was released in the 90's; it's possible that it's just falling because it's old, especially if children played a little rough with it. It's frustrating, especially since your warranty is definitely void and Nintendo can't replace your console, but sometimes these things happen.

Why cant i increase brightness in video games!?

It depends on the video game, in the menu, graphics section, some have a brightness adjustment. That said, your computer will optimize the game settings for best performance at start. So it may be the limitations of the computer? You may be able to adjust brightness but may suffer in a slower game? It all depends on the game and your computer specs.

Purchased Doom II, Ultimate Doom and Final Doom, but switched to new computer with Windows 7. Now these programs don't work.

Hi,
The only thing you can try is the "Compatibility Mode" option in windows 7. Right click the executable for your game and choose properties. Go to compatibility tab and choose a lower version of Operating System (e.g. Windows XP SP2) that supports your game. Save the changes you made by clicking on OK and try the game again. If this won't work, there is no other way but to use another computer with a compatible OS or downgrade your OS to a lower version that works.
You might also want to check your game manufacturer website for any update or patch that you can use to make the game compatible for Windows 7.
Hope this helps.

This is an issue with all windows based computers. It is quite normal. you have 2 options: Get a desktop with a flatscreen lcd monitor or buy a mac. Mac laptops have the crispest clearest screen I have seen so far on any laptop.

Nintendo 64 controller pak doesnt save games.

Well it sounds like that they are bad memory cards then. I had a problem with my memory cards for perfect dark saying that they are corrupted attempt to fix so I had cleaned out the memory cards and the part in the controller that they connect into and where find after they were cleaned out with qutips and rubbing alcohol. It could be the same issue that I had or they are just old or bad memory cards. The worst case could be the console or controllers could be having issues.

DOOM won't run in Vista ...what can I do also Duke, Hexen, etc.

Are you certain your DOOM game is compatible with your Vista Operating System? Vista comes in 32 bit and 64 bit versions. Software compatibility depends on the game being designed for the specific OS you have. If you're running 64 bit Vista, I'm guessing your game is designed for Windows XP or 32 bit Vista.

Moniter screen turns dark green on switch on ,why this happens?

it could be an issue with your graphics card, is this a recent issue or a gaming problem?
does it happen all the time?
if always dark you could check your brightness settings etc, or get the backlight checked by a technician.
if the backlight has gone, you will see the screen fine if you shine a torch onto it.

Nintendo DS lite power light comes on but both screens stay dark?

When you boot the Nintendo DS you can change the illumination settings in the main menu.
One the main menu, you will find a sunny symbol in the lower left corner of the screen. Click on that and you should be able to change the level of illumination. If you are also wondering if you can change the brightness during game play, you can't. Games such as Mario 64 DS come with support for brightness change but otherwise you have to do it before game play.
