Question about GE Refrigerators
We have a GE profile French door unit. The ice maker is located in the refrigerator section. This unit also has a water/ice in the door but we NEVER use the water, only the ice dispenser. Water is building up under the deli drawer. Any suggestions on how to fix it. The unit is 6 years old.
It could be that u have a leak.. sometimes this happens when to much water is delivered to the ice tray and it overflows a little leaking into fridge. if that is happening then u most likely have a problem with the water inlet valve at the back of fridge, u can buy the part on line at appliancepros.com. good luck

This sounds like the float mechanism has gone bad. Remove it and have a look. It may be the float or the switch on it that is bad. There is also a solenoid valve. Parts kits are available. Shut off the water first!

since this problem is discussed over and over on various models, I point you to a detailed manual that shows (with images) how to solve the frozen drain pipe issue.
