Why do i get email on both my desktop and blackberry 8900. shouldn't it not redirect my email to my blackberry only when i open the redirection software or when i am away from my desktop?

I get email in FOUR places, my file server, my workstation, and my two laptops. The same email because I tell it to leave the mail on the server until I delete it from somewhere. When I'm on the road, I know that my two machines at home are quietly receiving all the email every 5 minutes. It's presorted to different mailboxes and waiting for me when I get back to it.

Unless you do some fancy redirecting, I'd imagine your mail is the same.
