SOURCE: Printing a book from Word using duplex printing

In the Printing Preferences window, on the Page Setup tab, you have already selected Duplex Printing and Automatic. If your book is to be bound on the long side, you should have 'Long-side stapling . . ' selected in the window below that.

If that is what you have selected and the pages are printing wrong, try the 'Short-side stapling . . .' option.

I have problem i n download

Hi,
Unfortunately I cannot see the picture.
Please add a comment with the same picture in 2 different formats: .jpg and .png.
That means that you open the picture, save it as each format and upload here, result = the same picture twice but in different formats - .png, .jpg.

.jpg = aswell it is called .jpeg (no difference).

What does it mean this file format is not supported? i can`see a picture from microsoft word using windows photo gallert .

You cant open a file if your software is not compatible with that kind of format.. Although they are all picture/image file but, some image loader cant open some file due to unsupported file format like .gif .dib .bmp etc.. The most common image file format is .jpg or .jpeg and. png..

My images save at sizes of 3-4 MB!!! how can i get them to be (way) smaller files??? powershot SD790is digital elph

Your solutions are varied, but the results will be (mostly) the same. Option 1: Lower the resolution and quality settings on your camera. If you are seeing 3-4 MB per photo, then they are probably at least 4000 pixels wide, and your file size will be larger to reflect that. If you set the camera to a lower quality and or resolution, you will for sure save disk space. Consequently, you will also lose image quality. If you are mainly archiving the photos for the purpose of viewing them online, on your PC, or through a digital picture frame, this is no big deal. If you intend to print, especially a large print, you will see pixelation occur in the print. This will take smooth parts of your picture and chunk colors together in a "boxy" appearance. Your second option, is to import your photos in a program like Google Picasa or many other free options, and then convert your image to a compressed format, such as a compressed JPEG or PNG file. PNG files are usually the better choice for file size, but not every devices (frames, TVs, etc.) recognize PNG files. So you may want to stick with JPEG depending on your use for your photos. Additionally, you can lower the resolution of hi-res photos within Picasa (or its alternatives) after importing the photos. This is the preferred route as you can take every photo like you want to print it as a poster, and then choose which photos to drop the resolution. This gives you the safety of shooting each picture as if you want to keep the quality and then later decide which are worth archiving at what resolution. Remember, the detail in a photo also reflects upon its size, not just resolution, if you take one 12 MP picture of the sky and another of a bunch of different color balloons, the balloon will have more color data and thus a higher file size.

Printouts from CBR files

Hi,

Comic Book Archive files mainly consist of a series of image files, typically PNG or JPEG files, compressed using one of several popular methods. The file extension indicates the archive format used:

Comic Book Archive viewers offer various dedicated functions to read the content, like one page forward/backwards, go to first/last page, zoom or print.
CDisplay was the first application to support the CBR format. CDisplayEx, a free and open source clone of CDisplay, duplicates many features of the original CDisplay. For users of the GNOME desktop environment, the Evince document viewer includes support for the format and users of the KDE 4 desktop environment can use Okular.

Hope this helps

Psd to jpg

You probably need to flatten the image to get it into a background layer only. Choose in menu: Layer/Flatten image then try to save your image.

If it didn't work, then most likely your image is in 16 bits/channel mode, change it to 8 bits/channel. Choose in menu: Image/Mode/8 bits/channel.

Setting the format of the picture i scan

Ok I am not sure why ya scanner won't save in JPEG .. however converting the files to JPEG is relitively "Simple". After saving the Scanned picture.. Open it up in say MS Paint, Painshop etc, then simply choose "Save As.." from the File Menu, and save it as a NEW image file this time with a JPEG extension. IE: origional... picture.png or picture.bmp ... save as ...picture.jpg .. ya should be good to go. :)
