Question about Compaq Presario CQ62-112TU
This problem is probably due to fan being clogged with dust, a simple solution is to get compressed air can and spray out all the air ports on the side and under the laptop, if that does not work it will need and internal clean with new thermal compound for the cpu

If it still overheats after cleaning out cpu fan you can use a usb cooling pad under the laptop as my laptop gets hot and I use one to get extra ventilation under the laptop.

Craig is correct in his response. However, some laptops make it easy to get access to the fan buy simply removing a panel underneath. This would allow you to clean the fan a little better which should solve your problem. If your fan isn't accessible by removing a panel on the back, then it will need the complete underneath or top (depending on your machine) removing which is a much larger job and one that I would ask a technician to do for you. Average cost for this job should be no more than 50-75 pounds. Hope this helps
