Hello,

What type of server that your e-mail account works with?
If you are using POP3 or IMAP account, please configure Incoming mail server.
You should try the given below solution to resolve the occurred issue:

Sol 1:

If you are using Microsoft Exchange account, check if you use cached exchange mode. If not, enable it. Click on "File" tab >> "Account Settings" >> "Account Settings" locate your exchange account and click on "change...."
Under server settings, check Use cached exchange mode.

You can check another setting to help resolve being able to send but not receive e-mail messages.

You can set up Microsoft Outlook to check for new e-mail messages at intervals of one minute to 1,440 minutes (one day).

On the "Send/Receive" menu, point to "Send/Receive Groups", and then click on "Define Send/Receive Groups".

Select the group that contains the e-mail account that you want to regularly check for messages.

Under Setting for group "group name", select the Schedule an automatic send/receive every x minutes check box.
Enter a number from 1 to 1440 in the minute's box.

Facebook password problems

Some users decide to close or deactivate their Facebook accounts when they get tired of the social networking site.

Facebook automatically stores the data for closed and deactivated accounts so that users can reopen them again easily if they have a change of heart.

If you previously closed or deactivated your Facebook account but now want to reopen it, you can easily reactivate the account by logging in with your old username and password.

Launch your Web browser, and navigate to Facebook.com.

Type your username into the relevant input field on the Facebook login page. The username is the email address that you used when you first registered the account.

Type your password into the relevant input field.
Enter the password carefully, because Facebook uses case-sensitive passwords.

Click the "Login" button.
This will open and reactivate your Facebook account.

You can access your Facebook friends list and all previously uploaded data, including status updates, notes, photos and videos.

I can't open my fb

Please check one or all of the following;
1. Ensure that your internet connection is proper. If it is ok, then,
2. Ensure your password or user name or both are correct. The e-mail you used while opening up your face book account can be a good reference to search for this information. Or click on the "Forgot your password?" tab, and follow instructions.
3. The problem could be that the internet administrator for your internet point restricts the site. Please find out whether the site is allowed.

How do i change e mail address on facebook when old one is shut down and cant log on to change

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. You will have to make another Facebook. You won't be able to use your old email account. You need to make a new one. This is the only way to get around this. Facebook will no longer be able to read your old email and there is no other way to get your information on the old account. Sorry. Everything will have to be new.

I can't open the facebook in it is not login

Hi!

Assuming what you mean is that facebook.com is not opening on your internet browser, here is what you need to do.
1. Clear cache on your browser.
2.Clear cookies
3. Clear recent history.
how? Open your internet browser. Click the TOOLS menu on the upper part of the page. Scroll down and select OPTIONS. On Privacy tab, click the clear your recent history and the remove individual cookies. Go on the Advance tab. Select Network. Next to offline message click the CLEAR button.
Restart your internet browser and type facebook.com in the address bar.

Now, Assuming that facebook website is loading and you can't sign in your user id and password. Here is what you need to do.
1. Make sure that confirmation code was type correctly when you try to log in. This code can be found from your email inbox. If not there, try the spam section.
2. Check for capital letters. Make sure it is type correctly.
3. If you can't sign in click here. Go on the question and answer portion to retrieve forgotten password. Of course you will need your email address working properly because transaction was sent to your mail account for confirmation code and links.
4. If your account was blocked then what you need to do is to email disabled@facebook.com. Ask them to reactivate your account. They will activate Facebook account only once, so it is better for you to know the reasons why they block your account without warning. Some reasons why they block Facebook account is because they find its content abusive and against their terms. If they taught a Facebook account is phished and spreading spams, it is more likely that this account will be block without warning.

I hope this solution will be a big help for you to access facebook.com

Please do rate my solutions and leave some testimonial message.
Thank you for using Fixya.

When you do a seach on my name I see an old Facebook account. I don't know the e-mail address it was created under. Is there anyway to find out what the e-mail address was for this old account?

The best solution will be to email facebook support and ask them to email the account (assuming you still have access to your old email accounts). Otherwise you will need to prove that it is your account. Whatever you do you will need to message facebook support.
The help page for forgotten email accounts is
