Question about Washing Machines
When it goes on to spin cycle it begins to make a noise and won't pump water out . Could the pump be blocked ? how do I go about repairing it ?
You can start by locating the pump on the bottom of unit. u will see hose connected to it follow this hose and u should find a clean out or a filter take apart and make sure that it is not blocked. also check the discharge house to be sure it is clear as well. if everything is clear then u may have a problem with the pump. if u go to appliancepros.com u can get the pump and watch a clip on how to replace. it is not a real hard job to replace.

SOURCE: LG WD-8013F wont spin
I checked the lint filter at the front bottom left hand side and it was full of junk. Once emptied it worked a treat. Pull the flap down and turn the large knob anti-clockwise and pull to remove. Good luck.

SOURCE: LG Fuzzy Logic
Place a piece of magnetic material at the edge of the lid, for the wf-s6697tc model.
Standing in front of the washer, it is slightly off centre to the right (at the edge where the lid covers, space between the wording speedy soak & fuzzy). If you pay attention to the lid, you might notice some brownish rust stain.
This is where they place the magnet.

No you just need to get the drain hose up higher...the water is siphoning out and is either caused by the end of the drain hose still in water and not having an air gap or the hose is not going up higher then the top of your washer...
Lifting the hose up should give you an air gap and get the hose high enough to stop the siphoning...

SOURCE: Hi, we have a LG
working on lg for a while we have talked to tech suport and they don't want to admit they have a issue with these units.. first of all they say if on a pedastal they will give you problems but yet they sale the darn things... what we have found though is there is a device called a haul densor and it is very easy to replace you have to remove the backof unit panel and gain access to the back of tub... make sure it is connected well as it is on a rotor looking device called a stator assembly... if it is connected well and you have made sure it is level you have a bad haul sensor...thsi is what determines the speed of drum and slows down unit if getting out of balanced.. it is not that expensicve and pretty easy to fix.... hope this helps you out...

Tips for a great answer:

possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors
due to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program
controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN
pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting from
the flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the
water at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then the
voltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to no
voltage from the controller. This means
the controller is a suspect.check for output when the cycles is in the SPIN mode, if absent the board is a suspect.
Check for moisture in the board, remove and reset all the connectors to the main board before the processor or the memory can be suspected.
