Panasonic plasma tv (47 inches), inputs not working

Panasonic plasma tv (47 inches), after a severe storm and power outages the inputs don't work. We can use the menu so the picture itself seems to be good. But what we plug in doesn't work. Can it be fixed? Or should I just get a new one?

Panasonic tv hdmi inputs not working

It appears that during the storm there may have been an electrical surge that damaged the electronics of your tv. If the tuner is working fine then the affected area (board) is the one that has the HDMI input sources.

Hdmi inputs dont work after lightening storm

Did you disconnect from power the units connected to the inputs? I would guess either the set or something hooked to those inputs got a static hit.

Panasonic th-50px75u no power

Ensure there is proper voltage on the power outlet. Try changing the TV to a different power outlet you are sure that works. Try changing the input device to something you are sure works. Switch off TV manually, switch off power, remove plug and retry after 48 hours. If problem persists, please refer it to a qualified service technician.
