Griffin, what works for me is vinegar. Overtime there is build up of calcium etcand that has to be dissolve. If vinegar does not work, try CLR and that will clean your system and you will see it as you empty and rinse. goodluck.

Haan sI70 unit gets hot but no steam is generated, so not hot enough. Anything I can do?

It sounds like the internal temp thermostat is detecting that its hot enough when its not, and cutting the power as its supposed to, but too early. It may not be worth time/effort/money changing this part, in case its a problem with another part. Its a bit desperate but you could turn it off and half fill it with cold water then shake it vigorously to see if washing the internal surfaces impoves things.

How do i remove the hose from the haan gs 60

Look for a push-in button on the machine where the hose attaches to it. Also check that there may be a twist off connection with 2 pins on the machine that connect to the holes in the metal end of the hose...either is possible..Good luck!

Why are my wood floors not shining?

Well first off, I would not recommend using any time of steam mop on unsealed or natural wood floors. They will damage them because of the heat and moisture. If your wood is sealed then it would be okay for short amounts of time. meaning not keeping it in one position on a section of your floor for a long period of time.
Steam mops are not meant to Shine floors. They are meant to sanitize and disinfect. yes they do clean as well but if your floor is shiny after use then there is to much water coming out and not enough steam.

Kenmore he3t washer: clothes come out hot even on cold rinse. How do I turn off the steam/sanitize?

You will have to check your owner's manual for that. Now that's for the steam/sanitize. If you turn that off and it still does it, it's most likely a fault in the fill valve.
