Hi Joseph Erman, I want to help you with your problem, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box? Who is your service provider? I would probably suggest contacting them or Motorola Customer care

SOURCE: I have a W385 with

I know that to actually send and recieve MMS, it depends on the configuration settings from your sevice provider so if what they asked you to do, did not work, then I suggest that you take the phone to them personally so that they configure it themselves for you. If there is any other mistaken changes by you, they should be able to find out and correct it for you.

I removed the sim card from my apple iphone and now it will not recognise it,s phone number

The sim card is the portion of the phone that has the instructions for the phone to connect to the mobile/cell phone network.
If the phone has it's sim card removed it cannot connect to the mobile/cell phone network and cannot send or receive data such as calls, SMS messages and data connections.

How come i cant get somethings on the internet on my phone?

Hi there,
It's important to understand how you can have data connection to your phone so as to access internet e.t.c.

1. Access through the Network:
Mobile Providers (Vodafone, e.t.c.) provide data access to the users on request (or by default in some cases). This data access is through the NETWORK of the mobile operator and uses 2G, 3G, GPRS, EDGE protocols to access the network.
2. Access through WiFi or WAN:
A smartphone can access internet using the WiFi or WAN protocol (wireless lan). In order to connect to the WiFi network you need capability from your phone and also to find an Access Point of Wifi (AP) to connect to. WiFi networks are FREE or PAID. You can find free networks usually in central squares, caffee's e.t.c. Also, some providers (Vodafone, e.t.c.) provide WiFi APs and you can use prepaid cards or fixed contracts in order to access them.

SGH G600
Unfortunately your phone DOES NOT support the WiFi protocol, so you can only access internet through the 1st option.
In order to do that, we need that your operator allows the DATA traffic for you and we also need to setup your phone in order to accept/send DATA.

How to do it.
1. Mobile operator settings: Pls call your mobile operator and ask them if your number has DATA allowed (DATA plan, or DATA connectivity). If so, you are OK. If not, pls check the price rates (per MB or per usage time) and -if it's within your budget- ask them to activate DATA to your phone.
2. Phone settings: Your phone has the following symbols that indicate Data connection:
z+1hzaqrlnqwwvwdfr1lzkykn1b8bkb4taelpwbtemaaaaaelftksuqmcc GPRS signal
l6ehksvkldgdezebnabnyzrvbdahxgoi73e0f3iim39j5lejkcqpinnueqzqeddx6a9xkznrlwbw7botcnfduu4c6ywjywlty5geilyaqw6jizfmxaaaaabjru5erkjggg== EDGE signal
In order to setup the Data connection there are the following configuration options in your phone:
1. Menu -> Setup Wizard. Setup wizard can setup your phone for various tasks. Try it.
2. Menu -> Browser Settings. You can select the connection profile to be used for DATA.
take into account that in order to setup a DATA connection you need to setup the AP of the GPRS/EDGE as well (usually something like

...BUT the easiest solution your you is to call your provider, give your number and phone model/type and ask them to send you an automated message that has all the needed settings for your phone so as to have access to DATA.

You click on the message send and all needed settings are OK.
You can now access internet!

If above solution was helpful, pls rate it.

When I try sending a picture it comes up with a message unable to send picturemail at this time due to network problem(error S63).

Hi, the problem you are having is caused by your phone having the wrong settings stored on it.
This usually happens after you have changed the sim card to another network but it can also happen if your service provider has sent out an update and you have not received it.

All you need to do to solve this problem is call your service provider and tell them what make and model of phone you have got then ask them to send you the latest mms and wap settings.
your service provider wont charge for this service and they send the settings via a text message this will then update your phone to the correct settings and you will be able to send and receive what ever you like.

some service providers let you send the settings to your own phone from their web site but not all service providers offer this service so you will need to check their web site for this.

giving them a call will solve your problem

let me know if you need further assistance ok

plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

Phone wont connect to network to send email, but downloads says 'error synchronizing"

I work for Sprint and normally when this happens, you will; need to have your "data profile" updated. Simply call up your provider and ask them to perform this for you. You will then simply power cycle your phone (turn it off then on) and you will be good to go.

My motorola rival a455 wont receive picture messages or videos from other phones

if the phone is unlocked and you are using the phone on a different network. Example---T-mobile phone with a AT&T sim card you won't be able to send or receive or get on the internet. Each company has different settings for the Data networks so either call tech support and see if they can reprogram with there specs.

I can not receive or send pictures out

I think EVDO is a type of network .

google tells me
is a standard for high speed wireless broadband. The acronym is short for "Evolution, Data Only"

so from this i can asume you shouldnt be connected to that network, as it is for High Speed Wireless Broadband (ie Mobile datacards, and wireless internet boxes for PCs.)

if you go into the network options for your phone, you should be able to scan for other networks and connect to them.
most cellphones support at least one of the following network protocols,
GPRS, EDGE, 3G , 2G, CDMA - if you can change to any of those you should be ok.
