Why has my credit or debit card been charged twice?
Duplicate charges may be the result of sending a payment multiple times; for example, if you clicked the Send Money button several times. If the duplicate charge is the result of multiple payments that you made, the charges will not be credited to your card. You will need to contact the recipient to request a refund. To check for duplicate payments, please consult your History page.
1. Log in to your account at https://www.paypal.com/.
2. Click the History subtab.
3. Click the status of any transaction for more information.

Promise me that in the future you will never share the intimate details of your product keys and other nomenclature on the web for any reason.
The fact that your key does not work may stem from the fact that it has already been shared with at least one other party which is possibly the reason that it is non-operative for you now.
Product keys are private information which when used once, by the first party, whether the actual owner or not, cannot then be used by a second party.
To solve your problem, get back to your vendor and PRIVATELY exchange the necessary information to properly register your product.
Failing that, your purchase is wasted, and by resolving this issue, you may assist the vendor and/or the manufacturer in disabling the software that is being used by another party.
