Hi yolanda richardson, I want to help you with your problem, but I need more information from you. Do you have power to the starter? I don't know what you mean by won't crank. I am thinking you mean it does not turn over at all.

Belt replacement 2003 ml500

It is fairly straightforward on the M113 V8s. I can't remember if that automatic tensioner has the 15mm socket spot on it just under the tensioner pulley or not. The tensioner is located on the driver-side lower but next to the power steering pump pulley. Move it from YOUR right to left, when facing the engine and remove the belt. Put the new belt on starting at the crank pulley. The rib side routes all the way around the idler pulley-from the crank shaft, Power steering pulley, top guide/idler pulley and then alternator on the lower right(passenger-side). The back or smooth side goes around the tensioner and water pulley. I hope that helps.

I cant find a diagram however i can tell you how it goes. Starting at the alternator the belt goes completely around alternator (ridge side to pulley). pulley then over the water pump pulley (smooth side to the pulley), then down to the right around the tensioner pulley (smooth side to the pulley), then back to the left up and over the crank pulley (ridge side to the pulley), then to the right around the ac compressor (ridge side to the pulley), then up over the power steering pulley (ridge side to pulley) and then finally to the left over the idler pulley. have a good day.

Hi i've a 95 c280 benz.the car dont start.

you said fuel rail has pressure , why do you want keep checking fuel system?
check ignition , and if no spark present check reference sensor(crank position sensor) , if it's bad you won't get spark or fuel.

How do I replace a fan belt on C280 model with air conditioner

You find a 17 mm bolt under the belt or a 15 mm bolt in the middle of the tension pulley. If you undo the bolat this will release the belt tension.
To remove the belt turn the bolt by slipping a 4' pipe over the socket wrench handle.
Use a wrench as a lever to slide out the belt. Put the new belt last on the idler pulley that contacts the belt only on the smooth side.
Do not unscrew the Button Torx bolt in the center of the tension pulley, it is not needed.
