Misfire in cyl 4 and 7. Oil on spark plug 4. Cyl 4 is 30 psi compression. No power. Rough idle. Check engine is on...... Do I need new engine?

Sorry Kylar if one cylinder is down to 30 psi you either have to look inside the engine to locate the problem, or get a replacement engine.

1-try some Lucas Engine Clean . 2-Change wires and plug

SOURCE: rough idle low comression #6 cyl

plug, plug wire, coil or igniton module. Check for vacuum leaks.

Not running rough slight miss at idle

check plug gap .try a little hotter fire plug. sometimes the seals around the valve cover will let oil in around the spark plug causing it to misfire. as the 4 cyl engine has a coil pack and you cant see it till you remove it.

sounds like the only thing left is the valve lash. If the intake gasket was bad, it would most likely cause a vacuum leak and effect the overall performance of the engine. You may also notice some oil consumption as well. Also, verify the firing order is correct.
