Fuji Finepix F401 color keeps going off normal scale
Hi, I have a similar problem as an unsolved one I saw on the list. My Fuji Finepix F401 color keeps going off and on the normal color balance, when it's off it's very pink/red and a bit blurry, both the viewfinder and the captured image. I noticed it worked ok when the battery was about half charged, so I charged it up and the problem came back. Now I've tried to run down the battery a bit and the color is normal again. Could this be a battery problem? Or would a color issue not be related to the battery? And why does it only seem to work when the battery charge is low? If it's not a battery problem, is this worth the cost of repair? Thanks

Connect the camera
Turn it on
Open (my) computer
Look for a hard drive which wasn’t there before
double click it
Inside there will be several folders
One of them has your pics in it
Copy and paste them to wherever you want
There are no remedial suggestions I am sorry to say.
These devices are made in such a way that a 'repair' would not be possible only replacement if under warranty- which this one longer is.
4 years is a good life and technology has moved on now so much that a new camera is going to be the only option.

I am in Europe and experiencing the same issue with images coming out black and white and blurred. Hope to find some local support.
