Question about Kodak EasyShare LS743 Digital Camera
Once I insert an SD card into my camera it says "memory card needs formatting". I click continue. It then says "formatting will delete everything on memory card". clink continue again and it repeats that same process. Ive also tried formatting the SD card on my computer first, and that isn't fixing the problem. I've already tried about 4 SD cards and none are working. What do I need to do to fix this?

SOURCE: new memory card will not format
You are probably using a 4 gigabyte memory card and your camera will only support a 2 gigabyte card. Get the right card and it will format properly.

If your using more than 2GB of SD card or if yous using the SDHC card it will not format the Memory card.
Try to used the recommended Memory card 2GB or 1GB SD card It will reformat your card. Too Much or too High SD card is not compatible on DX camera series

If you connected the camera to the computer with a USB cord to download your pics and then just yanked out the cord without using the "safely remove hardware" icon at the bottom right corner of your screen, the card may have been corrupted. Replace it.
