Firat off this is my 3rd Xbox 360. First one worked for 5 months and got rrod, got a brand new one right there and then from best buy, worked for a full year and this time MS had to mail me a refurbished one.. and ever since i got it, certain games will not play, one i really want to play is burnout paradise, the game starts,the title shows, but only for a bout 5 seconds then goes to black... this is majorly pissing me off.. any help would be gratly appreciated

this sounds like a gpu fault, or a laser read fault.
i,d return it to M$ for a replacement again, or alternatively look for a good 360 repair specialist in your area. you need the rrod kit, or a relacement dvd drive. i,d think more on the line of dvd laser if your getting no red-rings. don,t waste your money on a laser replacement, 9 times out of 10 they don,t work. go for a new drive, and have the drives logic board swapped.
